2006 GL1800

Don't ever date yourself! Deciding which of your selves will lead on the dance floor could be stressful. My Sena 20S has a plug for ipods, ect and the wire is included.
10K is barely broken in. Go with the prevailing wind in 300 miles there is a curve. Getting on I40 west from I27 has so many curves. Why leave town? LOL!

My original ipod died and I replaced it with the 128GB model so about 6000 songs and tons of room left over. You are correct about some of the best curves in our area. I40 west from I27 is a good little curve with an S thrown in at the end. I40 east exiting to downtown is pretty good also. I40 west exiting to I27 south can be extremely dangerous as there is usually a coating of green cow s--t left by our ever courteous bull shippers. That stuff is slicker than snot so when in our part of the world if you see green on the road be aware lest you end up sliding down the road and it doesn't matter how many wheels you have under you. Two or four that stuff is slick.

In my younger? days I was behind a truck when stuff started coming out the back. My first thought was oh caca it's gravel, but it should have been oh gravel it's caca. It was just north of Snyder so I held my breath for awhile. An ST windshield won't stop everything.

I have a 2006 Wing...everything but airbag (level 3?). I did fry the starter when the solenoid stuck, probably my fault for using cheap eBay solenoid after having a previous issue. I also replaced an alternator, but that could have been related to the starter issue as it happened just after. Other than that its been great. It has 105K on it now and its not babied. I do prefer my FJR when riding solo though. The Wing is the Queen's bike.

I bought an 08 wing back a couple of years ago and I had it about a year.. I was pleasantly surprised because I never thought I would like it much. But I did ? Cornered well at sane speeds, nice engine with plenty of low end grunt but ran out of power past 5 K RPM. No biggie, just grab another gear. Its not a bike for short riders, the wide seat makes it hard to put both feet down at a stop, but I don't have that problem. You would think that at that price range ,they would have given us an electric windshield ? Its adjustable but not on the fly. I still missed the ST, so I sold the wing and bought another ST but the Wing wasn't bad..
