Personally, I think it would be unwise to use a tire size different from the manufacturer's specification. Tire size (width, contact patch, etc.) affects a whole lot of things, not the least of which is handling of the motorcycle.
If you want to experiment and you have a specific goal in mind that you want to achieve by using a different size tire, that's one thing. But if you just have a different size (non-spec) tire around and want to use it instead of the OEM spec tire size - no, I would not recommend that.
The size you proposed (130 mm wide) is 10 mm wider than the specified tire. It will also be slightly taller. This could create problems with clearance of the tire within the forks / fender / brake system - perhaps not when the bike is stationery and on the center stand, but maybe under extreme compression during braking or cornering.
I wouldn't do it.

A wider tire also requires a greater lean angle for a given turn radius at a given speed.

It will fit. That size rear tire is used on the front with a car tire on the rear. Aka, double dark side. I rode that way for a few thousand miles.
If you have investigated the double dark side, and weighed the pros and cons, carry on.
However, to just put that size tire on the front because it is available, would not be recommended. It would change the handling to no good effect as noted above.

What is your goal/reason for wanting to use a tire size which is 10mm wider (5mm per side) than the standard size ?? Just curious. I use a tire that is 10mm wider on the back. I do not think you will find that you can notice the difference in profile shape, but of course, that is your determination to make. The more important differences, imho are in, tire construction,,, ratings,, compounds,,, tread block design (sipes), # of carcass plies,,, etc. cheers,,, CAt'
It will fit and work just fine, I have been running that size on my ST for many years now.
I have a 130/70 on the front of a ST1100. It fits, has a larger load capacity. Have no problems. As far as greater lean angle needed? Don't notice it. If that were the case an ST1100 non abs uses a 110/80 front tire. ABS version uses 120/70 9% wider. No one complains about the abs version not handling as well as the non. I think the silly 10mm wider (5mm on each side) doesn't make a noticeable difference.
