Looks like you had a great time, but I can tell you you just scratched the surface of good rides/roads over in that part of the world.

FOG - Yep, New Zealand is on my short list too. Was going to do it in February, but the house needs a roof so that settle that! John Hermann lists 265 Alpine passes and we managed to bag 42 of them - so I left plenty to go back for. We almost made his Trip 50 - 17 Dolomite passes in one day challenge but got rained out after 12.
I met John in Andermatt last year, nice guy. Not sure what my one day record is, but I did 9 in about 5 hours last year. I might have been able to do 17 if the visibility was more than 50' due to fog and rain in the morning and early afternoon.
If you need connections in NZ, let me know, I have a few contacts there in the MC touring industry.

FOG - Thanks. I keep hoping the value of the dollar will improve so these 'outings' are not quite so expensive!
