How do I upload an MOV video file?

Unfortunately Larry, I don't have a YouTube account so I can't offer any help other than what I suggested above.
There a quite a few people on here who do however, so one of them should know what the problem is. Hopefully one of them will be along shortly.
 
Go to your home page , click on the your videos. then click on the video and look on right side . under video link it's under visability, change from private to public:thumb:
 
It depends if using YouTube via:
a) on a desktop using a browser
b) on a phone device like Android, using the app

a) desktop
Go to YouTube, log in
Click on Your Videos
YouTube Studio will open in a new tab/window
Your list of videos are shown in a grid

Look down the Visibility column, for the video in question
Click on current Visibility option, which should be Private now
A pop up is shown - change to Public or Unlisted

The whole world could watch the video if set to Public
If Unlisted, only folks with the link can watch it (the one I prefer)
Click Save at lower right

Continuing my previous,
b) ... if using phone app

Open YouTube app
Tap Your Videos
At the far right of the video in question, tap 3 dots menu
Tap Edit
Tap right arrow at far right of Visibility
Choose Public or Unlisted
Tap left arrow at upper left to go back a step
Tap Save
 
I just went through it with a friend on the phone. After I hit the Public option, there is no Save button.

If anyone is willing to try to help me, I'd be happy to call you or send you my number.
