I know there are lots of other options for screens for the st1300.

Manufactuers include :
Areoflow, https://aeroflowscreens.com/Honda_ST1300/ST1300_AeroScreen.htm
BikeQuip, https://www.st1300-accessories.co.uk/windscreens
Clearview, (multiple options and vents) https://www.clearviewshields.com/motorcycle-windshields/honda/honda-sport-touring/st1300-shields/
National Cycle, http://www.nationalcycle.com/n20001.html
CalSci, https://www.calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/ST1300prod.html
Rifle, (the electric and manual screens are different models!) https://rifle.com/Motorcycle-Windshields/Replacement-Windshields/Honda.aspx
& Puig

I have it narrowed down to two - about the same costs, the National Cycle Vstream and the Puig touring with top deflector.

If you were choosing between these 2, which would you choose? I'm leaning towards the Puig based on looks.

My vote is for the one piece.

It does seem to be the more available of the two. Likely as the Puig is made in Italy and there are few resellers here in North America. The VStream is sold lots of places including Canadian retailers.

I've been running the V-Stream for over 100K miles. I'd buy it again. the lateral segments move the airstream outboard of my shoulders, while the center section pushes it to the top of my helmet. The Puig is only going to address wind in your face. As to looks, it's a personal matter: I prefer the one-piece V-Stream. I think that the lines actually fit in well with the contours of the bike.

One piece V Stream. I loved it so much, I just bought another for bike #2. I like the looks, and how the top goes outward to take wind off the shoulders.

From what I've seen the Puig does similar once you raise it up. It has "wings" like the Vstream that are at the bottom sides. As the screen goes up you get more of that air moving to the sides effect. The screen is about 3" taller than an OEM one. In some ways it combines the wings of the Vstream and the compactness of the OEM.

It lacks the flared top area of the Vstream that I assume creates the bigger "all the time" bubble that folks who have one have talked about.

Thanks all for your input.

I installed the V-Stream purchased from a seller on this site and am very happy with it so far. I concur with everything others have said about how it changes the airflow.

I just wish the 1300 had a simpler mounting scheme which could speed and simplify screen changes so I could swap between it and the smaller stock screen (or even a cut-down version) based on the weather and my mood.
