Hello my fellow ST-Owners. I am new to the forum and this is my First post and I am also a new rider. I am just here to ask if anyone can answer some of my questions in regards to the Honda fuel cut-off relay. I have a 1996 St1100 with about 80k miles. When I bought the fuel pump cut off relay was missing so I installed a toggle switch to turn the fuel pump on and off. Now the questions I have is:
- will bypassing the fuel cut off relay hurt the fuel delivery of the bike or is it just a safety feature?
- will running the fuel pump through a toggle switch and a fuse overload the fuel pump?
- is the fuel pressure regulated within the fuel pump or dose the fuel cut-off relay control the fuel pressure?
- where could I find a brand new fuel cut off relay if needed?
