Man I love this bike....if it just wasn't orange

I'm with you on the orange, Danny. People think Ducati and think Red and Kawasaki and think Green, but you can get different colors of both bikes. KTM has this thing about orange on every bike, although I noticed that there's a largely gray and white version of the 1290 Super Adventure.

All that said, they're making some amazing bikes, even in orange.

I like!

I know it is too much bike for me but if I could justify a second bike I think it could well be a KTM 690 Duke. A guy in our town has a 690 and I just love the way it sounds, it has a real angry bark when the throttle is blipped, but when just riding it sounds pretty tame.

I've ridden the 1290. Unbelievably fun but not practical at all.
