Shopping around for a new set of tires, but not finding a set to fit the ST1100 now.

Bridgestone T31's and 32's should be available.
But I believe supply is still a little sketchy worldwide.
I ordered Bridgestones for my WeeStrom months ago to beat the spring rush.

A year ago I got a front tire Bridgestone G547 from my independent motorcycle shop. Check with the bike shops instead of online. They are out there but requires a little effort to find. Happy hunting:)

It took a few days of looking around this spring to find a set. Ended up going with a set of Dunlop Roadsmart 3's. The Bridgestones were on back order everywhere I looked in my tire size. Try Chaparal motorsports. Had my tires in 3 days.

You won't find Exedra's any more. You really can't find a modern set of tyres in the correct size? ....F/R 110/80-V18, 160/70-V17...

Here in the UK you can still get the G547 front from mytyres.co.uk. They do actually come from Germany, though all transactions are in sterling and there are no import duties to pay as you are buying through a UK subsiduary. The G548 rear, however, is now like rocking horse ....

I managed to get two pairs of front and rear from them in 2022 :) Primarily for the outfit as it hates none OEM tyres, probably due to its unique nature.

I have always ran Metzler, but I guess it's time to switch to Dunlop

I remember having a difficult time finding a proper rear for my 1991 ST100 back in the 90's in Denmark. I often had to go to Germany, or buy a slightly wider model. With my ST1300 I never had problems.

I always liked the Exedras when I had my 1100. They handled and wore really well. IMO they're much better than the BT020 OEM tires for the 1300. I'm trying an Exedra on the rear of my 1300 to see if I can get more miles out of it. 5500 on it so far and it still looks good. I'm trying a Roadsmart 3 on the front since the Exedra was not available in the proper size.

Found these online. This looks like a really good priceView attachment 312577

I just took a set of Dunlop Roadsmart 3 tires off of my 1991 ST1100 after 5,000 miles as the front tire was cupping bad. I have new wheel bearings on this bike too as I replaced the wheel bearings when I put the Roadsmart 3 tires on. I even checked the balance of the front trie with my static balancer after I took it off the bike, it was fine.

I put on some Bridgestone T32 standards and balanced them myself this time afte I got them back from my local Honda dealer and they are awesome tires. Put 102 miles on them after I got them back on the bike. I even replaced the three o-rings in the rear and greased the splines with 65% molly paste. The splines look brand new after 83,624 miles. I used the 65% molly paste 5,000 miles ago, and before that I used Honda M-77 Assembly Paste.

Better grab your T32's befor they are gone. I am even thinking about ordering anothe set of T32's, just to have them on hand should I run into a nail.

Need a G548 rear oem for my non ABS 1100. I better get them ordered. I'll let you know the availability.

Yeah... that rumor gets spread since the mid 90ies... ;)
Most likely just a sales pitch to drive folks to the "oh so modern" tires, that'll give only half the mileage... -> double the turnover...
Bridgestone (and most online dealers) have moved them to the "cruiser" section...
