Broken Handlebar Weights...How do I fix This?

A few weeks ago, I changed out my grips. Upon disassembly, I noticed that the weighted end of the left side handlebar seemed broken (see pics). I could not get it to screw back in. The Allen screw does go into the hole, but the mount of the weight itself seems broken. I can basically use pull it out. It is not tight at all. How do I fix this? Do I just need to get a new bar weight?

Looks to be a part missing ... ... there should be an Allen screw goes in from the end and pulls a segment into an expanding taper to lock it in place - shine a torch up inside the bar and see if the other part is still there
Going by the photo someone has glued the weight part into the end of the bar instead of making a proper repair.
