August 11-14; I was going to camp at Antietam Creek for $10/ night (old guy rate) but son says we can camp at the track; "Overnight camping is restricted to the paddock.". I'll have to check details.

I might b able to do this! Bike is in the shop Thursday, just a few days of work left, and then im free! Also, this is on the way to Chicago for me, where rt 66 begins! This just might work!

Great; I currently plan on taking them up on "Early arrivals welcome!" and showing up on Thursday the 18th. Another campground I'm thinking of checking out either Wednesday or Thursday (17th/18th) is about 3 hours east of Redbank, Steel Steeds M/C campground (Milton Pa) $10/12.50 a night...

Did you firm this up? I have to be in DC on the 20th and 21st. Looking to sit down and share a beverage or two earlier in the week.
 
As firm as anything on the road can be for me, camped Columbia SC in the heat last night, in DC tonight heading for the track Summit Pt in WV tomorrow. Short answer: still planning on Pa Thursday next week.

Second phase complete; highly recommend Steel Steeds campground. Great $10 camping on the river and a nice Bar & Grill, Susquehanna Smoke House, within stumbling distance. Met up with Will there.
