Yet again I need your help and thank you for everything that you've done so far.
If the 1300 is run with a water leak at the water joint near the throttle body what is the chances of it taking out the alternator
 
Probably not much data on that or what data is offered worth betting on.
 
Kind of depends how big the leak is, and how fast it gets larger.

How fast will a boat sink if there is a leak in the hull? Sort of same kind of question.
