Tire Wear

Time to put on a new tire. I'm replacing this Metzler with a PR4, but I'm curious about the wear pattern on this tire. It looks to me like I've been running low pressure even though I've checked it regularly. Maybe my tire gauge is reading high.

I have seen this many times before and it is called cupping, in the netherlands that is.
Mostly seen at the BT023 from Bridgestone, i would send a mail to the manufacturer and show the pic.
Never know what he is gonna say but some of us got some new tyres for free.

Pretty much normal, some tires show it more. I feel it's simply the torque applied to the wheel from acceleration and deceleration.

+1!..........seems with each aging year, tire 'cupping' decreases
