It's -10, few ins of snow on the ground ,months before I can ride, and I have a strong cold. I figure some of you must be going for a ride today. If you tell me about it I can follow your ride on google maps.

I'm going, Dr. Z to Wickenburg, then west on some dirt trails toward Parker. Weather looks like it's gonna cooperate tho a little chilly right now. Heated Gear, don't leave home without it. :D

It'll warm up in the north east soon enuff.

I will be out the door and less than two hours on my DR650 heading for work. Hope you get to ride soon.

Nope. My ST is in pieces awaiting delivery of a rebuilt shock and new fork springs. BUT it'll be warm enough here; 66 F.

Man, that sucks. That was one the main reasons I got rid of my Harley last year. It was something in the primary or transmission but we couldn't figure out what was wrong. Shop said I would just have to ride it until something changed and they could figure out what was wrong..would've killed the rest of the summer if I hadn't bought the ST. I really hate bike down time, every good riding day is valuable.

At least you'll be riding relatively soon.

970mike - I know how you feel working on a Sunday especially if all your buds are off riding.

I'm about 80 miles from home in the town of Folkston, GA. Stopped for a cup of coffee. The forecast has lots of rain in it today but the temps are in the 50s. The loop is about 300 miles today. Riding the 700.

Sigh, cannot ride today due to family obligations but I have been commuting to work on it. There is no perfect place to live. We on the Gulf Coast can ride year round but finding an exciting road is rare and difficult. If there is a twisty road down here it is agonizingly short.

I just looked up Folkston, you're 2897 km from me. 300 mls (480 km) is my normal get out for a hop ride. Hopefully you can miss the rain. Safe ride.

I'm Riding, Just heading out for a ride in the Rain. High of 58 with 100% chance of Rain.
Bike needs a wash and I'm Lazy. :rain1::rain1::rain1::rain1::ppl11:

No riding today, but thinking about going out Sunday. Supposed to get up to about 30 Sunday, not bad for NH in Feb.

If you're coming out to the valley area watch the wind! Some side gusts yesterday were somewhat exciting, especially while splitting lanes:D!

You're 6047 km from me and around 5 hrs behind (so around 1000 your time). Is it going to rain the whole time? Just crusin or going somewhere with a purpose?

I hate to rub it in, :butt1: since you asked, it's a gorgeous day today and I'll be riding out to Apache land in a minute.
I hope you find this slightly offensive and meant in the humour I intend…you're a dick(smile). Have as much fun as you can because if the situation was reversed I say the same thing. Be safe

I noticed a few times that our bikes are not the greatest in side winds. I described as riding with a sheet of plywood on the side.

I'm right there with you...looks like I won't be riding anytime too soon...

Yep, that's my view as well. I sure I could even find dog P if I looked. My bikes not undone tho, He's very patiently waiting, I just visited him.

I was on my way out for a short (30 mile) ride to the bank and part's store this morning. 22 degrees but the main roads were clear. I hope to get out tomorrow for 100 miles or so.

Don't you hate being stuck inside? I usually use the off season to plan trips, read ride reports, etc.
