What is the John Deere "powerlet" name or number? The local JD dealer doesn't know what I am talking about! Thanks

From another thread labled car parts that fit

https://www.st-owners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68297&highlight=john+deere

John Deere plugs and sockets
RE11344 is for the plug and list for $6.65 US;
AL25073 is for the socket and list for $3.43 US.
They are compatible with the BMW parts and much cheaper. You can also get them from the Heat-Troller people at http://www.warmnsafe.com

Best of all you can obtain these through your local John Deere _tractor_ ( lawn and garden does not have access to them I'm told) parts dept. or by calling: Mel, at 303.535.4474. Shipping as required. Or by writing Mel at their parts department %

Uniwest Equipment CO.

You can also get to Deere on the Web at http://www.deere.com. There is a dealer locator at the bottom of the page.

Don't bother with John Deere. Once they found out why they were selling so many they raised their prices. Go with Powerlet. My opinion,

I called John Deere and they want $16.50 for their version of the "powerlet" just like TSTRANGER said. It still might be the best option because I won't have to pay shipping and handling I hope! Later
