I feel like I've seen that LED strip on the front of the mirror cover before but can't place it to model or even make. But it bet it's the key to identification.

Having just replaced the LHS mirror indicator LED light on my son's Subaru Outback, most Subaru models (most have similar mirrors / lights) can be eliminated.
