McCruise........ and there is an optional switch that's not so big and clunky. I had a McCruise, and they work perfectly. A bit pricey, but best out there.

Definitely MCCruise control.
There should be an actuator (either vacuum - round plastic with a cable coming out of it - or electronic - about the size of a tube of caulk with a cable coming out of it) and a metal or plastic brain (square box bigger than a box of playing cards) stuck somewhere on the bike.

Is that a 2005 ST1300?
I had a ST1100 with that cruise control control and liked it very well. When I bought the bike, used, the cruise control did not work as there was a hole in the vacuum line. It was a very easy fix to replace the line with a new piece of hose from the auto parts store.
