Buona sera all and sundry
Thanks for the Italian roast Ray. Makes me feel like I'm in Italy... oh yeah, right. I am.
Today's fun was a bus ride along the Amalfi coast, from Sorrento to Amalfi then a boat from there to Salerno before taking the bus back on the Autostrada to Sorrento.
It has been simply astonishing to watch the dynamics of traffic in every Italian city and town through which we've passed. I do not understand how they don't manage to kill themselves in vast numbers, but in two weeks we didn't see so much as a scrape or fender bender.
Now the tour's over. We have a final day on our own tomorrow before returning to our usual time zone. It's been fun but now it's time to head back.
