Ay up, ow at. The Dark Italian Roast is ready, help ya'selves.
It's a dry but grey start here, 42 to 55.
We'll be off to Berwick-upon-the-Tweed shortly for some some'ats and then the afternoon may be grass cutting if it gets dry enough. It's pretty unusual for grass to need cutting this far north in late October, but it is what it is.
But for now I'll take another coffee, procrastinate a little longer and enjoy the view.
Av a gud un and remember, there's always time for another cup.
Upt.

Ta for The Darkie Ray!

And ta for the funnies @STinner !
Just love ‘em!

12˚c/54f, 25mph from south, gloomy.

Been for an early walk up hill.
Now to bicycle for some groceries.
Cooking later.
Must be a pfffffft! somewhere….I’ll just sit tight and wait for a while.

Have a good one!
Stu

Morning all, and thanks for the coffee, Ray.

8C and dark for the ride to work, 16C and mostly cloudy for the ride home. It's only a halfish day today. I'll be leaving early as I have a dental appointment for them to fix work that they did previously and I guess incorrectly. They still charge to correct the errors. No warranty on dental work. I won't complain though as I'm not not in Patty's league... in multiple ways.

Hope you all have a great day!

Obo.

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the Italian roast, Ray. Bold, with slight note of pepperoni.

Still summer. 50/81 and nothing but sun, with no rain in sight. Last night, the local weather guesser predicted 40% chance of Friday, but then added, “Probably won’t happen.” Sometime I feel sorry for the meteorologists, not having any rain to predict for the last 3 months.

I’m sure I had something planned for today, but dang if I can remember what it was. I’ll look around to see if I left myself a note.

Good morning, all, and ta much for the coffee, Ray!

Looks like this will be the last of the run of heavenly weather, for now. Apparently, there'll be another warm-up in a couple of weeks, we shall see. Today, we'll see a mix of sun and clouds for most of the day, and temps ranging from the current 15°C/59°F to 23°C/73°F. Alas, it all comes to an end with the first raindrops, which will begin to fall at around 4 p.m., then intensify and continue to come down until the wee hours of tomorrow morning. Temps will drop from there. Oh, well, it was wonderful while it lasted.

@Obo: Good luck with the "repair." Hey, as long as they don't raise your maxillary bone using a mallet, it's all good. (I kid you not, that's what they did. Still makes me shudder to think of it).

Everyone have a stupendous day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

good morning all. thanks for the roast Ray. 62F on the dog walk with a clear sky (clouds must of slept in) and a bunch of stars to see as we walked. not sure what is going to happen today, but something will. I'm sure of that. the high should see 96F. enjoy the day

stay safe

Hadn't you got something to do on the truck?

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee, Ray.

It's foggy out and 52, rising to 75 and becoming partly cloudy.

I'll be off to the VA to take care of some business there, and then to the MA DOT to swap out an EZ-Pass transponder that's not working. Checking my account, it seems like for a month or so. They've been VTolling, using Brenda's plate. I swapped that out with one from the VFR.
Gym, afterward.

Have a great day,
Steve

Thanks for the roasting Ray, much needed.

Before I forget, @Mellow , that was a cat, which explains why it was so skittish.

Yesterday was a completely lost day, as I fell victim to some unusual stomach bug at 1 am Tuesday morning. It kept me up all night expectorating from... never mind, it was ugly. Real ugly. I messaged the office at 8am, went back to bed and slept till 2pm, at which time I went to the fridge for some Gatorade, and then slept till 8pm. Then I slept the rest of the night.

Didn't even drink coffee yesterday.

I feel normal again today, so you've been warned...

Good morning all!
Thanks for the caffeinated start Ray!
I’m doing nothing most of the day, then going to a meeting, then after, I’ll run down to Woodstock.
Miss Judy is there packing stuff for me to haul back.
I actually got out for a short ride on my ST yesterday, it’s been stored for a year in a pals garage.
Dave, I enjoy your posts! Those cartoons are hilarious!
Have a great day! 1 minute hugs to everyone!

Morning Ray & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 36F, and heading for 75F. No breeze yet, but later the winds will be out of the SW @ 12 to 17mph.

Yesterday, my neighbor came over and we set the framing for the first to sections of the shed concrete. We hope to get the first section (4x8) done this morning. I was really hoping to get two done, but he's saying that the concrete won't set up that fast and because there is no room to work it from the sides, that we should only do the first section, so he can finish it before we do the next. That means, it could take 6 days to pour it all.

No breakfast yet, I'll get some in a few minutes. But you can bet, there will be a Pepsi or two, later.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

This just proves that working with concrete is hard.

Morning all! It's overcast but the sun is sneaking a peek around the edges. 6C for the ride in with a high of 12C to come.

Part way through the ride into work, I noticed that things were a bit blurry. I concluded that I had not put my glasses on after putting on my helmet and that my glasses were likely residing somewhere on my garage floor. Got to work and went to pull off my helmet and these things on my face kept preventing me from doing so. Yep, glasses were on face, visor was partly dirty, partly covered in moisture from the fog I rode through. I know dementia runs in the family but jeez Louise I thought I had a couple more years. I've decided extra caffeine is the answer, at least for the rest of the day. God help my family for the years to come....

The contractors were in putting the second coat of paint on the walls yesterday. Once the painting is done it will be flooring and cabinets. They are doing a great job, I have to say it's a real pleasure to watch and work with someone who is dialed in, not just contractors, but in work and life in general. Makes up for the rest of us disorganized yahoos :D.

Hope everyone has a great day and avoids the fog, visor or brain wise!
