Yes the coffee is ready, the Italian Dark Roast is......Dark. Help ya'selves.
It is also the day where rams are traditionally allowed to rum amuck amongst with the girls, there'll be fireworks.
It's a misty one here 42 to 56 apparently, light winds, low cloud but it should stay dry.
I think I'll be in the garage today, the some'ats are building up and if they become some'ats or t'others I'll never catch up. Pffffffftttttt. Strangely I feel like an after breakfast nap. Meh.
Our Italian lurgy seems to have passed on, I'm not sorry. My only lasting ailment is a blocked right ear. I might need a power washer.

Obo, your car hunting chat interested me. Discounts are starting to appear here on just about all ranges. I saw a new hybrid JEEP some'at or t'other reduced from 45k to below 30 only yesterday. Used EV's are in free fall, losing about 70% of value over three years. The recent changes in vehicle excise duty and fiscal policy could also shake things up some more. Bikes too are appearing discounted from new, I saw a V Strom 1050 going for 8.5K from its original 12. Good luck.

10˚c/50f, overcast, calm, rain in the distance, not here.

Might have a two-nighter at my daughters cabin tomorrow, including hours of new to me backroads.
I’ll prep the bike, and be ready.
A lot of inlaw crap waiting to happen, so let’s see how it all plays out, before decision is taken.

Picking up Peter early in the kindergarten, and some cooking, that will be my day.

Thanks for the Italian Dark Roast Ray.

It's 52°F and clear in Rockville (and dark too, of course: Mr. Sun won't get going until 0641 and he'll retire at 1702), where we expect sunny skies (haven't had measurable rain for 34 days in a row, don't expect any in at least the next five) and a high around 74. Sure wish I had a moto to go riding on.

I'll cast my ballot today, then Mrs. Fun wants me to take her shopping for a new laptop computer. My old one is 10 years old and , although it still works, it's too far behind the curve to be modernized so a new one is in order.

Cool temperatures, and overcast skies caused an irresistible urge to ride yesterday.
So about 300 miles later I was back home eating Virginia peanuts from Courtland VA.
Ahhhh, if you've never had Virginia peanuts and you like peanuts - give 'em a try - amazing.

A lovely ride! Ya know, I need to get out more often (he said).
But the bane of work here on the ranch keeps me busy.
Big drainage project coming up as I gather all the necessary thingys.

good morning all. thanks for the coffee Ray. 42F on the dog walk with a clear sky and stars to see and enjoy. just a bit chilly so I got a little bit heavier jacket out.

did the doctor thing and all is fine. came home just worked around the house. nothing on the list today so maybe I will get the oil changed in the ST.

we should see 68F as our high today. enjoy the day

I drove to work this morning due to the rain (we may have had snow overnight) and then Mrs. Obo left with her car. I was told riding wasn't an option. :) I'll hang around work late and she'll pick me up tonight as I'm done work a few hours before her. Weather numbers are 8C-11C and rain. Powerball numbers are 1,3,7,9,15,22.

Car shopping went as well as expected at the VW dealer. 4 models models are on the table, 2 of them being taken for spirited test drives. All stupid expensive for what they are, in my opinion..... Oh well. We left about 3pm yesterday and got home about 9pm. Some'ats indeed. Now to sit and crunch the data - features, wants, needs, price differentials, interest rates, residuals....

Hope you all have a great day, and don't need to buy a 4 wheeled vehicle anytime soon.

Ah, yes, November 5th. It's also my eldest sister's birthday today. As fate would have it, her husband's name is Guy. Tee-hee. I always call him "Guido" on this day; always earns me a scowl. He's actually American, and had no idea who Guy Fawkes was until we explained it to him.

Now, then. After yesterday's chill and preliminary flakes, it looks like we have another two days of crazy, warm weather on tap. It's getting so you don't even know what to wear when you get up in the morning. Today's temperatures will range from the current 10°C/50°F to 18°C/64°F. It's wacky, I tell ya. Conditions will be mostly cloudy and there's a chance of rain at some point, but only a 40% chance. According to the weather map, it looks like the wet stuff will pass north of us.

It's partly cloudy and 56 in MA this morning, rising to 71.
I got to experience the sun in my eyes phenomon that @ST1100Y was talking about on my trip to the house this morning.

Yesterday's plan came to fruition. Leaves were moved, gym visited, dog walked, and Big Box store visited.
I checked online, and the ballot that I submitted a few weeks ago was accepted, so I don't need to go to a polling place, today.

Instead, I'll clean up the attic, after a gym visit, and do some other house work.
Brenda's working today, and since it's "First Tuesday" as well as election day, I'll meet with former coworkers to discuss solve world problems.
