I never thought this would happened to me, but I think my riding days are coming to an end. My eyesight aren't as sharp as they use to be and forget about riding when the sun is down.

Not sure what to do with my 1992 ST1100. It's still runs like a top, but I think I would be lucky to get $500 for it with 165k miles on it.

So sad..

sorry to hear that. This is a decision we must all make eventually.

as to the ST 1100....HEY UNCLE PHIL ........ found a low mileage one for you ;)
Thanks for thinking of me, but I'm only interested in ABSIIs at this point.
As far as price for a 92 with those miles though it is in good shape - you are about right on the price, maybe a little more if someone really wanted it. ;)
The problem with selling ST1100s is their age, they are not 'classics' to the collectors and getting parts.

Well, that does suck...

But, best to live to fight another day and not put anyone else in danger when you know better... tough call.. none of us wants that but hopefully we'll be smart enough to be that wise...

Donate or part it but that's a lot of work.
