G'Day,

yeah, some hot Joe and decent food... sounds tempting...

4°/13°C today, gray overcast, no rain predicted though...

GF on her moped, today she's trying her new Daytona Lady Star GTX boots... gonna be some stiff shifting I presume...
(the old pair suffered a small leak, I suggested sending them in, but she went and treated herself to a new pair... on sale...
we'll see if the raised heel helps her footing... I see a request for some shift lever adjustment dawning... ;))

Office, slower as yesterday, we'll see what comes... could as well be just 'the calm before the storm'...

Business dinner today, a vendor is footing the bill... not really pleased (rather be at home, watching the telly), but socializing is marketing...

have a nice day!

Morning all, and thanks Dave for the coffee 'n funnies.

0C here and snowing heavily, big fat wet flakes. Sounds like a bad rom-com plot. Poor visibility on the way into work. Roads were OK-ish, with the plow just passing the end of my driveway as I was leaving home. Should pop up to +3 and the snow turn to rain later on.

Enjoy your daze.

Obo.

good morning all. thanks for thee coffee Dave. 61F on the dog walk with a clear sky and stars all around plus I got buzzed by a big barn owl. I could hear it calling and just as I pinned its location on a roof top in a blink of an eye it was right in front of me and then turned away into the darkness between two homes. it made for a nice walk. today is I don't know what I will be doing. so we will have to see just what pops up. the high should reach 87F. enjoy the day

stay safe

G'day all and thanks, Dave, for the coffee, funnies and yummies.

We'll have sunshine today, with temps ranging from the current -1°C/30°F (feels like -6°C/21°F) to 6°C/43°F, snow flurries for a few hours tonight. The temps will drop and it'll be a lot colder tomorrow...and it looks like we're getting a wallop of snow on Saturday. Sigh. Yogi was right: "It ain't over 'til it's over." C'mon, spring!
I'm off to get my bandages changed again this morning. The foot seems to have "plateau-ed"; nothing has changed in the past week and a half, either in terms of the condition of the wound or the pain level (which is still bad and requires strong meds to allow me to do anything or focus). I think that's probably normal - bad wound, long healing process - but man, this is getting old. Sigh. Patience, Grasshopper.

But the sun is shining, there's coffee to be had, I have a team of great nurses taking care of me and I'm blessed with wonderful neighbours and friends who have all been more helpful than I can say. So life is good. :) Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee and funnies, Dave.

It's 30 and sunny in MA this morning, rising to 48 and staying mostly sunny, later.

Yesterday's range session was kinda hit or miss. I blamed the misses on sunspots...

Today, I'll find the gym, and walk a bit.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning all
Thanks for the spread & the hugs Dave!

A warm sunny day planned here in Ridge Manor,
51/88 F with a ENE breeze to keep us cool!

We’re on the road home tomorrow morning.
An overnight in Dalton, GA and another in Toledo, OH; where we’ll meet up for an evening of catch up & merry making with my friends.

Then it’s time to get used to the Canucksville climate!

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the GMD and breakfast spread Dave.

It's 31°F and clear in Rockville; after a wakeful interlude from 01:30 to sometime after 0400 I slept until 0630, when the cat made herself enough of a pest that I had to get up to feed her. At least the sun had (almost) risen by the time I got up. We'll peak at around 57 under sunny skies, and the winds have abated somewhat from what they've been for several days although we're under a "Special Weather Statement" advising us of the elevated risk of fire due to the combination of breeze, dry conditions, and low humidity, and suggesting that we refrain from outdoor burning especially in the time between noon and 1800 hours.

Now that I'm the trustee-designate for my sister's trust, I'll have to spend some time trying to find and get access to the bank account where the money is kept, so that I can continue making monthly disbursements on her behalf. I'll start that process today.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, because tomorrow may be too late.

I'm back! Got home yesterday around 6PM, after driving over 1,450 miles in two days.

Morning Dave & All, from a clear, cool morning in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 50F, up from 40F and heading for 70F. There's a slight breeze now, but later the winds are expected out of the SSW @ 30 to 37mph.

My son, Dereck, was in the hospital for most of the time I was there, so I was only able to see him for a short time. He was released yesterday and I left Chris there to help Lexie care for him, for the next week and a half. Chris will fly down to Las Vegas on the 7th, where I'll pick her up and then we'll drive down to SoCal for our Dental appts. In the meantime, I've got plenty to do around here, besides get a motorcycle back together.

The drive out to Illinois was "mostly" uneventful". The only real weather we hit was going over the two passes just west of Denver. As we were about 10 miles to the Vail Pass, the snow started. And at 10,500 feet, the road was covered in ice. With the 4x4 Tacoma, it drove great. there were cars and big rigs stalled out, all over the place, but we just kept going. The second pass, Loveland, which is 500ft higher, was also covered in snow & ice. But, again, we got through it just fine. We also missed a big traffic mess in Kanas. The day before, they had a 70 vehicle pile up due to blowing dust. 12 people were killed and the freeway (I70) was shut down while they were cleaning it up, so we had to take a detour. It took us three days to get out there.

My three boys; Rob, Justin & Brett are getting excited about our August motorcycle ride in Montana. I have to go back and replot it, since I didn't save the mapping I did. Oh well, I know most of the route.

No food/drink yet, I'll go get some now. And Yes, Pepsi(s) will be had at some point!

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Good morning, Did get some sleep, woke up at 8 this time. Driving wife to eye clinic this morning, She can't drive if they put drops in her eyes.
Weather 10 C showers tapering off to Partly Cloudy, with some sunshine , high temperature 13 C . Hopefully it stops with the monsoon rains soon, grass needs cutting, mower don't cut through ponds very well. Last few days have been spent cleaning and organizing toolbox's , is it possible to have to many tools? Yet when I was replacing the serpentine belt on the Mazda could have used a 14 mm 1/4 inch drive shallow socket, which I don't have. Box end Wrench and a pipe worked with a few cuss words. Thanks to the forum for teaching me how to mount a tank bag on Lady, seems Mother Honda put brackets on the bike for such a thing .IMG_6681.jpgIMG_6675.jpgDo hope to find a new bag ,or dye the old one black, it's only a couple decades old. Bike is Fit to Ride, and me almost there as well. Have a wonderful day Y'all. G
