There's something in the coffee today!

Morning all, and thanks Dave, for the coffee.

In the words of Mediocrities: "Good Enough."

-2 here and clear. We got a mess of snow overnight, making the commute this morning treacherous. It'll continuously drop in temps today down to -14 or something stupid like. I'll have to deal with the cold and frozen crud when I get home I guess. Dear life, could you please start using lubricant?

A special shout out today as well to the birthday boy, @ToddC ! :birthday:

Hope everyone has a super day and avoids bad things.

Obo.

Morning, everyone. Thanks for the coffee, Dave.

57/63 this morning, and partly cloudy. Yesterday was nice, as it hit 74 degrees, with nothing but sun. I was sitting on the deck yesterday, when the physical therapist arrived, so we decided to do the exercises outside. He was surprised that I had completely given up using the cane. I didn’t tell him the part about not remembering where I left it.

"I'd rather take coffee than compliments just now."

G'Day...

-4°/6°C today, clear skies, sunny, weird pinkish/skin-tone sky in the morning, and just when I pulled up at the workplace the fiery, orange orb rose over the horizon...
Yep, days getting longer again... (already fear that darn DST when we've to get up one hour earlier again... o_O)

GF still under the weather, deeply asleep when I got home last night, I kept it quiet, she stumbled up around 1900hrs, with a fewer spiking to almost 40°C/100°F... :(
The Quack prescribed fat antibiotics as expected, they seem to kick in though, as this morning she texted me a shopping list of food and treats she likes me to haul home today...
Can't be that bad if she's hungry again, can it... ;)
So I'm going to raid a store on ze way home... (we're low on supplies anyway...)

Office, slow but dull, updating supplier product prices in the article management program... yuch...
But, needs to be done, accurately too... otherwise the offers would be off... ;)

enjoy your day!

good morning all. thanks for the coffee Dave. it was 55F on the dog walk with some clouds and a mix of stars to see as I walked.
today we are going to one of the Gem Shows locations and see what we find that we can't live with out. its hard to explain. venders come in town and set up shop in make shift tents, buildings. I have never Googled it. its one of those things you got to see it to believe it. with the high going to be 82F it should be nice for walking and looking at stuff. enjoy the day

stay safe.

Good morning, all, and thanks for the coffee and goodies, Dave!

We got quite the heavy snowfall yesterday evening/night and there are still light flakes falling this morning. We'll see a mix of sun and clouds today with temps hovering around -7°C/19°F. It's pretty windy out there, though, so the current feels-like of -12°C/10°F will drop by several degrees. Looks like this is the end of the current "warm-up," and it will get very cold again tonight. I'll be ensconced in a cozy French bistro for part of it, as I'm meeting old friends/colleagues for dinner after work.

@ToddC: Happy Birthday!! Hope you get to hit the slopes today!

Everyone have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Dave.

It's 33 and sunny, going to 38 with wind from the NW at 20-30mph.

Joe and Elouise stayed the day, yesterday, and we all had a good time.

Today, I'll head over to the gym, drop off a used microwave at Re-Store, and head out to our First Tuesday event later this afternoon.

Happy Birthday @ToddC

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Mmm coffee, thanks for keeping me murder-free for the 19,527th, day in a row! Temps are nice today, 46F/8C so I get to ride in to the office...the commute might ruin that streak, we'll see.

Not sure what else I'll be up to. Did find a local breaker with parts I need. He's got 91 he's parting out, on FB Mktplce if anyone wants to look him up. If anyone wants me as a go-between I'll be happy to help. Mirrors and upper fairing are already gone but I can ask abt other bits if you PM me.

Take care y'all!

Morning all! It's been a crazy 24 hours weather wise. It's currently -3C/-9C with the windchill. We got dumped, for Vancouver Island, with a lot of snow, over a foot anyway. Caused no end of havoc on the roads yesterday as people don't tend to have winter tires or the knowledge/ability to drive in the white stuff. Saw multiple accidents on the way into town including watching another car smash into the back of a pickup. They were clearly carrying way too much speed for conditions and lost control. Pfffft.....amateurs......We may get a bit more snow today and the high will be 0C.

Our Bernese Mountain dog was loving it though. Kept doing zoomies around the yard with a massive grin.

Spent yesterday between two hospitals; my wife broke her femur Sunday afternoon. Yesterday was spent doing various investigations as there was no blunt force trauma (that's my story officer) to cause the injury. Surgery is set for this morning and hopefully all goes well. I'll be hanging out there again. I went hunting for food yesterday and they shut the cafeteria at 3:30 in the afternoon fer crying out loud. Supplies and provisions will clearly have to be packed in.

Ray, I hope your hospital adventures are more pleasant.

Happy Birthday Todd, hope it's a good one!

Hope everyone has a great day and thems may be the breaks but who knows how we got 'em!

Good morning,
Happy birthday Todd! Will start with the Weather -4 C /25 F expected high 0 C / 33 F windy at 23 mph , supposed to get some sunshine by noon according to the weather app. Not much planned for today, garbage day, and change the time on the Air Parks hours of operation sign. Play in shop for a while, maybe. Have a good day Eh ,G

Morning all........

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Seems so weird to be in my 60s now. And as for skiing today.....too cold and windy and snowy. I like my bluebird days on the slopes.

We are headed to a cold snap for the next few days.

I hope Mrs. @Weaselinsuit heals up well.......and can file charges as soon as possible ....... :p

It is Satuesday, go have one.

I, on the other hand, have never had a cup of coffee in my life. Not one.

Yep, you're not alone on that one! Although, growing up I was required to make the stuff for my parents.

Morning Dave & All from another :wind1: day in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 55F, heading for 60F and the winds are still blowing from the S @ 2 to 12mph and later we could see up to 50mph!

Happy Birthday @ToddC :hat3:

I was able to wash down the 2006. My old pressure washer decided to crap out on me, but I had the one I picked up from my mom's three years ago, when we were cleaning out her place.

I also continued stripping it down. That will continue today, as well.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) to follow later.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
