Sunday Coffee/ Weather

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the French roast Peter.

It's 68°F and cloudy (I've been out to personally confirm that) in Rockville. Partly sunny skies and a high around 78 await us, evidently.

I have nothing on the calendar; that may end up being exactly what I do. We'll see.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, because tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning Peter and thanks for the hot start!

31F here, heading towards 35F with a Winter Storm Advisory in place. Several inches of snow arrived yesterday and right now it is raining steadily. I'll spend some time shortly scooping the crap out of the driveway enough to trigger melting in the next few days. For now it does appear that the yard will keep it's blanket of white.

After messing with the driveway I'll head to my eldest's house where we are having a small gathering to celebrate his birthday.

Be safe, be careful, and enjoy those you hold dear.

Any profanity is deleted from the site and historically, it's been your time of the month, three hundred and sixty five days a year

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Peter.

It's overcast and 34, becoming cloudy and rising to 45, later.

While Brenda was at the casino, yesterday, I attacked the stain on the living room ceiling.
I ended up painting the whole ceiling, after covering the stain with Kilz, and that led to some vacuuming, afterward.
She got home a little later than our normal dinner time, and we ended up at our favorite Chinese restaurant.

I'll head back there this morning to clean their filters, and Brenda has some grocery shopping to do.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning and thanks for the start-up, Peter!

Well, it seems my fears have come true. Freezing rain abounds this morning, and the worst of it will be falling just as I have to get to the clinic. So I'll play it safe and take an Uber or a cab, and hope the driver knows how to drive in it. I'm thinking the cab might be a better option this time, as the cabbies might have more road experience than some Uber drivers.
The freezing rain will turn to plain rain once the current temp of -2°C/28°F climbs to above freezing.

Have a good one, stay safe, go safely. Sorry if I sound a little terse this morning; offensive comments tend to sour my mood. Just sayin'.

For clarification:
I doubt that a TV series which even has children as actors offers much on "profanity"... Resident Alien...

Frankly: Calvin & Hobbes offers harsher humor...

I sense excuses for other things to come...

Mornin' yall! Still waiting to see if it's any good. Thanks for the starter fluid, Peter! I've been up since 6:50 thanks again to Princess #2. But I've been relatively productive despite a little headache. Fighting a blade adapter on a mower that spun on the shaft (terrible design, all of these kind do it). But having the garage open to work feels nice.

70F/21C and cloudy. I think more of the same is in the forecast. Get a little painting done and finish installing a couple of new faucets for the master bath. I do have a friend's yahrzeit today, which I usually toast with rum, but I'm out so a trip to the store is needed. Otherwise, the wife is out with the horse, so my only distractions are of my own making. Take care y'all!

Late morning to all, even though I've been up a good while.
Yesterday was great-nephew's first birthday, cowboy themed. I didn't wear my cowboy hat in silent protest... Roz finally got her wish, and i shaved the beard last week, but then it was the mustache. I was going to anyway, as it's getting warmer, I must hate being told what to do. Counseling hasn't helped. :)
Got a network job at the orange burger house today, first in months but today the 1yo is being christened... another must- be- there.
Was looking forward to riding except... 100% rain today. Snarl, grumble, mumble.
It's just a personal problem, i know.
Don't let my poor attitude disrupt your fine Sunday, I'll get over it.
Thanks for the FR, Peter! I'm liking it.

Morning Peter & All from overcast Southern Utah!

Currently it is 37F, up from 29F and heading for 57F. A slight breeze now, but later the winds will be from the SW @ 21 to 24mph.

They are calling for some rain or snow, but like always, until it's on the ground, it ain't happening!

We all have off days and the frustrations that go along with that, and even when we are at a boiling point, we still need to remember where we are!

I was able to go through the parts from Partzilla. The frustration part is when you pick up the part, look at the part number then you have to match it to the printout of the parts diagram you printed out, to check it off. And if you go back online and put in the part number, it says whether or not the part fits your bike, but does not tell you where it goes. So, I have printed out 16 different Diagrams/part lists, and for the parts that aren't obvious, I have to hunt through until I find it! It took me about two hours to sort through them all! :well1:

But I got everything sorted and in ziplock bags to keep them sorted! I also marked on each part, the number in the diagram they go to. :think1:

Word from Chris, I think she's ready to come home, but she still has another week there, babysitting my son. He does sound like the garbage they (DRs) put in him is wearing off and he's getting back to normal.

I've got church @ noon and the I'll take care of a couple of things around here after.

I boiled some eggs yesterday (I had to call Chris to find out how to do it in her InstaPot). They turned out great, so I had a couple for breakfast, along with some bacon, toast and OJ. Pepsi(s) to follow later.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
