Hey guys,

Looking at picking up a 2007 ST1300, I think it’s an ABS model.

Question, do they come with cruise control as standard?

Thank you for the info my friend, are they generally easy to maintain? I tend to do my own maintenance.
The brake system is complicated and gives folks the most issues but a solid bike. Nothing is perfect so browse the site and post any questions you have.

This might give you some good info....

If the bike is maintained according to Honda's Service Manual, the bikes will run and run and run (one of the guys here has, I think, 400,000 miles on his). If you neglect preventative maintenance, you can expect a few years of trouble free riding, before the house falls in (well, not really, but at that point it will take a labor of love to bring it back).

Cruise control is an aftermarket option, and a number of guys have installed them.

Factory Honda accessories that’s the funniest thing I heard in a long time. only farkles you get with a Honda is a spare key.

Ah but it comes with colour coded panniers as standard, and a windshield - some of them go up and down.
And I believe that the extra special versions even have switch to turn the headlights off. Now there's luxury.

IIRC only the early non-ABS which also didn't feature electric adjustable screen...
(likely they'd to use up all the 1100 switch-pods still on the shelves there...)

buy a set of JIS screwdrivers right away.
This. If you don't have one already. For years everyone I knew referred to the screw on Hondas as cheese-head screws. They got an undeserved reputation because just about everyone used Philips screwdrivers on on JIS screws. Practically a guarantee of burring the screws. The two-piece red handled screwdriver in the very basic tool kit was JIS.
