I had read st13fundred?s article on installing a Centech AP-2 fuze block and liked his concept. I opted to use one of crazykz?s FZ-1 Fuze Blocks.

I cut the mount out of a piece of 1/16? Aluminum plate and used stainless steel M8 button head bolts, nuts and washers all from ACE hardware. The bottom black nut is a nylock that came with my Hondaline Top Box. The washer and middle nut act to lower the mount out of the recess under the luggage rack.

The FZ-1 comes with a stand off mounting plate that screws to the bottom of the Fuse Block. I attached Velcro to the bottom for easy removal of the Block from the mount.

I used an Eastern Beaver 30? Fused Battery Lead to supply power to the Fuze Block and tapped into the taillight lead at the main fuse block on the left side of the ST with a Posi-Tap. (On my 2003 ST it is the Black w/Brown stripe wire) I ran this lead (blue lead in photo) back to the Fuze Block for the switched power trigger.

Mellow did a great article on where to find switched power for the trigger.

I now use the FZ-1 to power my driving lights and Autocom and have room for expansion.
