ST1100 throttle push-pull cable routing?

My handlebars bind slightly when turning right, so after taking a look, it seems that the problem might be the routing of the throttle cables. As you will notice, the cables are routed on the outside of the air filter skirt. Is this correct? It looks like they could be routed on the inside of the skirt which would/could create a bit of needed slack. Does anyone know what the proper routing should be. Thanks.

Looks right to me. Good schematics of routing in chapter 1 of the Service Manual.

Are there extensions on the handlebar mounts? How are they coming from throttle grip to front of the air filter? Picture?

Thanks John (and Sunday Rider). I hadn't noticed before the cable routing pages in the service guide. After viewing those pages, it looks like the routing on my bike is correct.

Too much tension maybe?
Give it a bit more play on the adjusters above the bell-crank...
