I remember seeing this but can't locate the info.

Which Honda automotive fuel pump is suitable replacement for the ST1100?
 
86 Accord fuel pump ? Not sure....That's the only note I've made of a Honda auto fuel pump.

Go to Rock Auto and look at what is available for the '86 Accord. There are a bunch listed. Click on "Info" for a particular pump and make sure it's a low pressure pump, like around 2-4 psi.

The Airtex E8371 is recommended at several ST Forum's, BTW. Airtex E8371 Click on "Fuel Pump"

I just replaced my ST1300's fuel pump with a HFP-382. I got it from Amazon for $40, new.

I put an Airtex in my ST1100 with good results, worked fine and fitted into the pump holder bracket easily.
 
BTW, When I installed the low pressure auto fuel pump in my ST1100, I mounted a metal auto fuel filter inside the tank. A "sock" filter also needs to be installed at the pump inlet side.
