Last night I installed a VFR 750 adjustable clutch lever that allows me to control where the clutch begins to activate. With the stock non-adjustable lever, it was at the end of the throw before it would activate. I found the lever on eBay from i5Motorsports and the price was $18.95 for a pair of adjustable levers plus shipping which was very prompt.

One more ergonomic issue fixed.

Here's the title on the eBay listing. It appears that the lever fits a wide range of years. I made absolutely no modification to the lever. I appears totally factory.

90-08 Honda VFR 750 800 VTR 1000 Superhawk BLACK LEVERS

Did it fit and go on without any modification? What
year VFR?

I'll post some pictures of the lever if that will help.

Here's a few pictures:

Comparison (while the stock lever looks larger, it's actually quite comparable to the VFR lever):

I put VFR levers on my 1100 as well. The motivation for me was that I broke my clutch lever. The push rod pushed a hole right through the end. The ones I ordered were silver colored so I replaced the brake as well. At the time I didn't know that the lever was available in black. Maybe I picked the wrong year oh well.

Just did the same today, A pir of Carbon fibre lookalike levers from a VTR/CBR 1000 from LuckyBike.com. Cost $19.95 for the pair plus postage.

A perfect fit, just have to remember to swap over a locating bush in the Clutch lever.

The finish is good, and looks good. Photos soon.
