Has anyone seen/INstalled this? I am thinking it may fit behind the grill and could be hidden. Dimentions are 14.5"x 2.4"x 2.5"€?Not 100% sure but think it is an interesting idea. It has 800 watts built in Audio. Can be controlled by your Cell phone since it is all Blue tooth conected. It woudl add optons like Pandora/Sirius/Other apps that you could stream audio from to it. This is my thought I would love to hear yours.

Looks way too big/bulky to hide... ugly, but that's just my opinion. Maybe could hide the spkrs. & BT module tho.

I don't think you'll be able to fit it behind the dash.
The (800 dollar retail our price 100) is about as credible as the thing producing 800watts and driving 2" speakers. You might have better sound with 4" polks with the oem enclosure behind the speaker grills.

I have one of their $800 retail/ $100 on sale units on my 1300. The previous owner said he used it with his cell phone, so I tried it that way and as a radio as well. FM reception is horrible, one speaker is shot, and while it sounds "OK" at rest, on the road I would rather have helmet mounted speakers.

The head unit/amplifier is mounted in the left fairing, locked compartment. Like it isn't already hot enough in there...

I am removing mine, and contrary to my usual M.O. I am not even going to try to sell it. I have a rep to protect! lol...

This is just like the one I have: SHARK 250 watt

It would likely sound much better if it was running the Polk speakers as suggested above, instead of overdriving the cheapies in the pods that come with it.

Oh, I already ran my battery dead one night by accidentally leaving it on, so I may be biased.

YMMV

The distortion is so high on those, that the 250 watt version has about 3 watts of usable power. It will get loud, just not clearly. There are much better options. I would go to a marine radio.
