Saturday coffee

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Mac.

It's 53 and raining in NH this morning, and we look forward to all-day rain as the temperature rises to about 64.

Brenda and I are working at the motorcycle races in Loudon today and tomorrow. We'll see just how we'll our Frog Togg's work, today!
We have hotel coffee, and we'll get some breakfast on the way to the track.

Enjoy YOUR day,
Steve

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee Mac. No need to rush back to get the waffles going (at least, no need on my behalf), as I've already had a couple bowls of cereal to tide me over.

It's cloudy and 65°F in Rockville, expected to reach 73 or so with scattered showers from ~0700 to 1700 hours.

I'll take Mulan to the vet for her monthly anti-arthritis injection, then travel to Columbia MD to sell a bicycle, before joining an old friend for lunch. Not a bad way to spend a day, overall.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning, all, and thanks for the coffee and sustenance, Mac!

"Soggy to waterlogged" is the forecast for today...and sadly, tomorrow as well. So much for the weekend! The current temp of 9°C/48°F will eventually climb to 12°C/54°F, and the day-long "light rain" will be punctuated by at least one heavy downpour today, so indoor things are on the agenda.

Have a good one, everybody. Stay safe, stay dry and go safely.

Patty

Thx Mac!
Waffles yes please!

Got the boat on the water this morning.
The ramp is so steep, a high tide is needed to avoid a backflip when launching….

Took a test ride afterwards, aaaaaah so nice!
Two years since last voyage.

Mrs Stu’s sister and family are visiting mil this weekend, and there’s a party tonight.
Pizza and wine is promised.

12˚c/54f, sunny, a breeze.

Have a good one!
Stu

Good morning all!
Thanks for the hot start Mac!
Yesterday’s tree demolition went as planned.
Brush hauled to landfill and wood delivered to our neighbour. Early to bed, complete with sore muscles as planned!

We’re off to Kitchener today to attend a retirees party for those of us still able to attend!
We’ll do some visiting along the way and also pick up the stainless steel cribbing plates I ordered a while back.

Enjoy your weekend folks!
WB

Good morning, Thanks Mac for coffee, waffles would be great, haven't had them in ages. Like what my phone is predicting for weather, Mostly Clear temperature 48 F at 6:00 am high of 62 F by 2 pm. A bit more windy today than yesterday 5 mph Gusts to 16 mph. Yesterday brought wife to eye doctor appointment, no problems with her eyes after cataract surgery. In the afternoon worked on Dune buggy, got clutch adjusted, gave myself a bit of a crack on the forehead. To much typing to explain what happened, lets just say I used the wrong thing to lift the buggy up. Today's agenda, breakfast, open Airport gate, grocery shopping ( maybe) , napping. Oh yeah almost forgot picked up new wheel bearings for motorcycle hauling trailer yesterday from Princess Auto, might install today or not, kind of sore from yesterday's work on buggy. Y'all's have a good day, me going to make a omelet for breakfast, Cheers G

Howdy y'all! Thanks for the joe, Mac! This cold has my sleep routine all messed up, but at least the Prince of Purrsia makes sure he is fed on time.

Son is prepping to move out so we're getting his car ready for the trip down to NC. His Mustang has never had working a/c so he bought and installed all the parts (with only my guidance). Last night we chased down a few leaks and will get it charged up today after getting some more R134a cans delivered. Good to see he's got some skills. Gonna miss him but he's ready and it's time. Got the lawn mowed before the rain too. Gonna be warm and sticky today with rain/storms and 77F/25C. Rehearsal in a few hours, then, eh I dunno. Probably some cleaning up.

Take care y'all!

Morning all! Another sunny beautiful day. The forecast says rain by Monday so best get out today and enjoy it. It's currently 9C with a high of 17C predicted.

Nice looking little runabout Stu! I'm curious; are there any extra precautions or maintenance you have to take/do because it gets used in salt water?

Have a good trip Whiskers! I grew up in KW but it sure has changed since I left. I likely won't get back there much, if at all, given that my folks have both passed but I miss it, It was a great place to grow up.

Not sure what's completely in store for the day but the grass needs cutting, there's the finishing touches on the fence that need finishing, some further emptying of C-cans, a garage to organize....it's a long list but I think I can sneak in a ride somewhere as well....hopefully. While I love commuting on the bike, it would be nice not to have a purpose and just go where the roads lead.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning Motomac.

Thanks for the cup of coffee. Its certainly needed this morning in Ontario (kinda surprised to see warmer temps for Peppermint - youre further north). We experiencing a short drop in temps here 4°C. Supposed to be back to riding temps tomorrow.
A nice warm day earlier in the week to ride the bike home. I had it stored in our daughters garage about 30 minutes away. Bike started and all good except a low beem out. Time for skinned knuckles.
No room in the garage atm so it's parked out back.
Im finishing a couple of wood projects and there's no room. Also don't want wood dust all over the bike.
We had to cut down some trees 2 years ago and I'm making some shelving, charcuterie boards and maybe tablet or phone docks.
Anyway have a great day everyone.
Ride safe out there.

Morning Mac & All from sunny, but :wind1: , Southern Utah!

Currently it is 59F, up from 37F and heading for 65F. The winds have been continuous since yesterday. We saw 27mph and today, we're expecting them out of the SSW @ 27 to 44mph.

Another good day to be working in the garage. :thumb:

Yesterday I was able to get some done on the AZ05 project. Coolant lines, thermostat and today, maybe the throttlebody. Next week I'll get the frame out and clean it up again for preparations on joining the engine with the frame! :pray1:

We finished off the German Pancakes that Chris made the other day. OJ to wash them down and Pepsi(s) will come later.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

When winterizing the engine, I let it run 30 minutes in fresh water to clear out any salt in the cooling channels.
Thats it.
Unless you by a Mercury….then you’re in very deep shite…they don’t handle salt very good.
My previous engine was a Mercury 60 4stroke, total disaster…got 10cents pr kilo when I finally gave up.
I’ve had two Mercury 15hp 2 stroke, and they were top notch! Never any problems at all.
