Saturday coffee

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the Folgers, Mac. Walk fast please, I'm hungry.

It's 59°F and cloudy in Rockville, where we expect cloudy skies and a high of 81. That ought to really invigorate the regional cherry blossoms. Our weeping cherry tree is about at peak bloom.

Today I'll walk over to the local branch of the bank that holds my sister's trust fund, and attempt to confirm that there's an automatic payment set up. I won't be able to do much more because I don't yet have the requisite documents in hand, but I hope I can at least confirm that money is going to be paid out on time.

Other than that... who knows? Mrs. Fun has a most-of-the-day event somewhere so I'll be unsupervised. What could go wrong?

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, because tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning, and thnks for the coffee start, Mac.

It's cloudy and 40 in MA this morning, rising to 43 with some rain predicted. The deck looks like we've already seen some.

Yesterday's skiing went well. It started out at 39, with icy courdury, and softened up some as the sun heated things up. By the time I stopped, a little after noon, it was getting sloppy. Good skiing, while it lasted, but my knees and thighs were yelling "Enough!". The light attendance probably ensured that the conditions stayed good for so long.
That'll probably be the end of my skiing for the season, just in time to pick up the Wing from storage next week.

Today, Brenda's going to the casino with her girlfriend, so I'll be home alone. That stain in the living room ceiling is still irking me, so I'll attend to that. It'll take more time covering up things than painting, I'm sure.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Thx Mac!

10˚c/50f, some sun, a breeze from Wooler.

Been on my bicycle to buy shrimps.
Now to clean house and car.
THEN eat said shrimps, and there’s a pinot grigio to go with it.

Have a good one!

Good morning, awake at 3:30 Mind hamsters again, and Bladder needed draining, oh well. Seems I have problems sleeping after taking the Dexamethasone pills which I took yesterday. Didn't make it to Birch Bay yesterday, wife slept in a bit to long, 40 minute line up at the Border crossing. So instead I went to Services Canada office to see why my first Pension payment didn't show up in my bank account. Long story short they never got the application, Thanks to a internet mistake. Good thing I had the hard copies, which for once I was smart enough to save and bring with me. Should get some payments in a month or two, hopefully.
Weather today, according to iPhone,7 C high of 11 Cloudy and Windy at 9 mph.
Today's agenda,go back to bed , open gate, sleep some more than have coffee and breakfast, play with new handlebar that my friend gave me yesterday for Lady , new one is taller and swept back more than the stock bar. Fun part will be front brake line, may need to get longer one and left heat grip if I can't get it off the original handlebar, it's glued on with JB weld Plastic Bond . Simple looking things for me never are, but will be worth the effort as I will be setting up right. Okay back to bed, see you soon,G

Good morning everybody, and thanks for the coffee and waffles, Mac! I'm more than happy to contribute some real, Quebec maple syrup to go with them!

Well, March came in like a lion and it looks like it's going out like a lion as well. It's wintry out there; we got snow overnight, although not as much as originally anticipated, and we're still getting a flurry or two. Should stop soon. The current temp is -5°C/23°F but it feels like -13°C/9°F, and the high will be 0°C/32°F with a feels-like of -5°C/23°F. Tomorrow is a tad more worrisome for me, as I have to get to the clinic for 9:45 to have my bandages changed. There's a big ice storm set to hit Southern Ontario and was originally supposed to wallop Montreal as well, but now the forecast looks like we'll just have light snow in the morning and the freezing rain/ice pellets won't arrive until around noon. I hope it stays that way; I'd rather have to negotiate a little snow than icy sidewalks. It's then supposed to rain for the rest of the day and all day Monday.

Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

good morning all. thanks for the coffee Mac. 61F on the dog walk with overcast sky. only got a look at a few stars. woke up at 0125 so we did walk a bit early and after I got a short nap in before the wife got up. she is going up to Coolidge for a dog competition today. so I got the better part of the day to myself. she will also be up there tomorrow also. wow 2 days off in a row. look out garage and work bench. the whole place just might get a fair cleaning as long as something shinny doesn't catch my eye. and with a high of 78F that will make for a nice afternoon. enjoy the day

stay safe

Funny how things show up in photos that we may not notice when looking at the same scene in real life.
If I didn't know about the existence of driver backrests for motorcycles, and that you have one, that photo of your helmet floating above the seat would be confusing.

Morning Mac & All from mostly sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 48F, up from 34F and heading for 57F. I got notice that it's supposed to rain in about 15 minutes. But I don't see any clouds, anywhere that could leave us with some wet stuff!

Yesterday, I was on my way to get a hamburger, when I decided to stop at the tractor store and see what they would charge for a 200 hour service. I guess they got in a new computer app, so it took the manager a few minutes to come up with an estimate. He said around $400 (parts & labor), and they he asked if I was going to bring it in or they would go to my house? I asked how much do you charge for going to my place and he said $15 an hour and the job was slated for 1.5 hours. Since that's cheaper (and a lot easier) than renting a trailer, I said "my place!"

Their service guy showed up a couple of hours later and changed the oil, oil filter, the transmission (hydraulic oil) filter, & the air filter. And I learned about things of the tractor, which made the service worth while! :hat3: So, next year when it needs service, I'll do it my self! And BTW, he did the service right in my tractor shed! I had him drive his work truck right to the shed!

I also got my truck washed after the hamburger!

Today, I'll go get some eggs, and then start sorting out all the parts I got for the AZ ST1300 Build and make a list of things I still might need to order.

I heard from Chris last night. I guess, Dereck is doing much better. He's still in need of a babysitter (his mom), but I think by the time Chris leaves, he'll be back to normal. :pray1:

Eggs, sausage, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) on the menu for later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

"On some days you'd wish the coffee comes out the shower head..."

G'Day...
actually almost good evening over here...

9°/19°C today, overcast, with high-fog (or low ceiling) and as predicted rain, rain, rain... not heavy, but continuous...
Had my two mugs, homemade bread and then some... (yes, eggs, we've lots of hen-fruit avail over here...)

GF thought it a brilliant idea to visit the garden center to obtain some blooming bush to fill one corner aside the front gate...
Yeah, so did about a gazillion other folks... the place was packed...
So we grabbed a pot with some sad looking twigs labelled "ON SALE: Witch Hazel" and fled the place ASAP...
Headed for the food store branch, heavy traffic everywhere...
Weekend + rain -> anything with wheels is on the road, heading to the shopping temples... and because its raining, all are completely nuts...
Anyway, finished the food run (about € 35,- coupon savings, still a € 140,- total... for a half empty cart... )
Grabbed some lunch (pork chops and potato wedges out the air-fryer... yummy  ) and took the laptop apart to replace the CMOS battery...
Of course was the tiny MOLEX plug on the delivered CR2032 wires pinned wrong, magnification glasses and a sewing pin to unlock the crimps in the connector shell to fix that...
Anyway, the Dimotion P150EM is up and running again...
Outside still raining, so the greenery in its pot is still waiting to get planted... we're not in the mood for a mud-fight... :sneaky:
Methinks we're going to retreat behind the TV...

have a good one!
