Good morning everyone

There's French roast in the pot for you. If the aroma doesn't get you out of bed, consider this a gentle shake.

It's a wet 42°F in Rockville, as yesterday's afternoon-long drizzle continued overnight and will carry on for a couple more hours before finally coming to a halt. It's induced a rather raw feeling (feels like 36) and of course a gloomy gray overhead. We'll "warm up" to about 50,making this the second day in a row where indoors is the preferred place to be.

My calendar's empty, but the time will pass never the less.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, because tomorrow may be too late.

and a long distance dedication... ;)

Yoh! Saturday!
9°/18°C bright and sunny today... from a few plots further we have the yapping and irking of the three hysterical Miniature Pinschers (AKA Dwarf Biter or "micro Doberman") echoing , the monotonous roar of the 21st strategic lawn-mover squadron and numberless pterodactyls screaming their tiny heads off as sound-stage...
yep, spring is here...

Supplies of various Nespresso selections, home baked rye bread, backed beans (it says gene-free, bio-farming on the can), scrambled hen fruit (whoever decided to print "from vegetarian fed, free-range hens" on the carton has never spent a second on a farm! I observed those ground predators hunting and chocking down anything that moves, even mice...) and grilled Wiener's out the air-fryer... (nah! The sausages! pfffff... )

GF already out in ze garden, picking weeds and drowning various other green stuff with an ice cold flood gushing out her garden hose...
Interestingly is she also wearing her tool-belt, among others is it serving as holster for a can of bug-spray... she's out on a combat mission...

Just ordered a set of T32's for her NT, the MOT is due and she wants that off her mind... € 240,-...

Afternoon/evening is going to be interesting (or stressful, whatever occurs first...)...
Her younger daughter is celebrating her 'last kids party', turning 30... yep, youth is over, officially a 'grown up' now... ;)

enjoy your start into the w/e!

good morning all. thanks for the coffee Keith. 64F on the dog walk with a bright moon that made it hard to see the stars and some clouds here and there to add to the mix.
I'm having lunch with an retired co-worker of mine today. so that will be fun. its been some time since we last had lunch.
the high temp today will be 97F. stay cool. enjoy the day.

stay safe

Good morning Keith and thanks for the pot of life!

33F here this morning with a steady light snow falling. It should fade out to the occasional snow flurry towards noon as it hits a forecast 39F. Total snowfall is expected to be about an inch.

A couple years ago, just before I moved, I had a couple large containers of once fired brass get knocked over and it all mixed together (thousands and thousands of pieces). Yesterday I finally finished re-sorting it all! I need a few smaller containers to store the individual calibers until I can start processing it..... and then go empty it to start the circle all over again.

I think a double batch of chili may be in the plans for today.

Be safe, be careful and remember to smile - it really irritates your enemies.

Good morning , mind hamsters have invaded my head! 3:26 am argh . Supposedly going to be a Sunny day today 44 F at the moment high of 53 F later today like when the Sun comes up. Got a fair amount on yesterday's to do list. Destroyed some particle board furniture and dumpstered it. Set up my old Computer on top of one of my toolbox's so I now have Tunes and YouTube, most excellent. Did also have a grocery run for Fruit juices ,eggs and bananas. Just had a look at the Full Moon so yeah phone is right about the weather conditions for today. Blanking cold on the porch, okay I'm in my pajamas, might have to do with the 10 mph wind from the west. Today's agenda, sleep some more, breakfast around 7 am , enjoy Keith's coffee " thanks" then Rip CDs to the Shop Computer and while I'm at it down load the Shop manual for Lady. Okay will try to get some shut eye, cheers GIMG_6742.jpg

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee, Keith.

It's snowing and 32 right now, and we've got about 1-2" of snow on the ground right now. The town plow truck just went up the street, and I'm sure he'll be back down in a few minutes.
The snow should end by noon, and it'll become foggy as the temperature rises to 35.

I did my gym thing, yesterday, then sat around until about 3:00, when I took the neighbor's dog for a 3 mile walk.
Brenda grilled up a nice ham steak, with some foil potatoes and cauliflour.

Today, I'm all into doing NOTHING.
I may get outside with a snow shovel, but that'll wait.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

G'morning, folks, and thanks for the coffee, Keith!

It's a another grey, gloomy day here, but will wonders never cease...once we reach the day's high, it will be warmer here than where several of you are to the south of me, including Keith!
The current temps of 4°C/39°F will climb to 12°C/54°F. Conditions will be mostly cloudy, with a 40% chance of rain late this afternoon. I have a friend coming over later on - the plan is to order in pizza, drink wine and catch up. I'll enjoy the company.

Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Morning all! It's a bright sunny blue sky day out there. Bit chilly at 4C but the high will be 12C.

It's cleaning day. My in-laws arrive on Thursday so need to get the house in ship shape. Daughter's boyfriend arrives at some point this week (wouldn't want to give us too much advance notice to prepare  ) to start work next Monday so it's going to be a full house and we need to figure out where everyone is going to stay. It's not a bad thing, as it may finally get us moving on emptying the two C-cans on the property of stuff that was being stored during the renos. I might.....maybe.....possibly......even get the garage emptied and put back into some semblance of order. Dare to dream.....

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning Keith & All from an overcast day in Southern Utah!

currently it is 65, up from 47F and heading for 75F, with winds all day too. We should see the winds from the SW @ 27 to 40mph. And the weather guessers are talking about SNOW, next Friday! I wished they could just once, get their act together and give us a smooth transition between Winter & Spring! :well1:

While, during our trip, I picked up a 12 point 30mm socket. Now to get back to the bike, and maybe I can get those outer baskets loose, so I can swap the 05's to the '06 engine. Which would allow me to continue getting that engine ready for the install.

Killed a few weeds and got my water turned on for the lawn and plants. Now I just have to hope we don't have a deep freeze anytime soon! :pray1:

Lazyman's breakfast, since Chris needs to make some more sourdough bread. Pepsi(s) will be on the menu, for later.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
