Getting out of the teens today sunny and clear for the most part.

Y'all have a great day!

hugs as always

good morning all. thanks for the coffee Dave. 42F on the dog walk with some clouds, stars and a bright moon to walk under. there was 3 owls hooting back and forth. I pointed my flashlight into a tree and there one was sitting. he must of been 12/14 inches tall. what a bird. I switched the light off and walked a long. it was just cool to see one.
today is battery day. got 6 9volt batteries ready for the 6 smoke detectors in the house. that will take all but one hour to complete. with the high is to be 71F I'll see if I can get a ride in on the ST. enjoy the day

stay safe

Thx Dave!
Very good indeed, and funny.

Yesterday I finished the wardrobe project.
Mrs Stu is very happy.
Could be the meds.
Or the nice looking oak trimming on the shelf.

Today is a lot of errands.
Some wine later.

Been for an early walk.

@Mr ed Owls are really cool birds!

Have a good one! (No, not an owl)

Good morning everyone

all you slurps out there

That is, as far as I can remember, the first time anyone's ever called me a "slurp". :) Thanks for the GMD coffee and the breakfast goodies, Dave.

It's 27°F and clear in Rockville, where the full moon is yellowish and setting in the west. Jupiter's not far behind, leaving Mars in possession of the southwestern quadrant of the sky. Later, after Mr. Sun has finally bestirred hisself and gotten above the horizon, it'll be maybe 37. Not much wind to speak of, so I won't mention it.

Mrs. Fun is headed to Williamsburg VA today with some of her longtime teaching cronies, for what is an annual pre-Christmas long weekend tradition. That leaves me unsupervised until Monday evening; what could possibly go wrong? I'll have lunch today with an old friend, but other than that I have no plans. Well, other than uke practice, of course.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them.

Good morning all!
Thanks for the hot start, the spread & the hugs Dave!

Another beautiful day here in paradise!
We’re headed to gorge on pancakes & “fixins” shortly! So, I will just sample your work & leave the rest for you lot!

It’s supposed too top-off about 80F later today, the weather as been much warmer than last year.
I’ll check back in later.
WB

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee and comics, Dave.

It's clear and 17 in MA this morning, but I saw 13 degrees on the truck's temperature readout on the way to the house.
It'll remain clear and rise to 34 for today's high temperature.

I made it to the gym, yesterday, but no walk. Probably not walking today, either.
Our builder was missing the curb for the shower, since the one which was ordered was too short. We visited Home Depot to try to find one, with no success, and then took a trip to the Tile Shop, where we found what we wanted. We thought that we'd have to order it, but they had it in stock!

Today, I may try for a visit to the gym, since I missed my Thursday workout.
The shower door that we ordered is supposed to be here today, as well.
Chinese, tonight...

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the Green Mountain, Dave.

It’s 39 and rather breezy out, but should reach 55 by the time the rain gets here around 3:00 PM.

Nothing planned for today. I may try to clean up the yard a bit. Or not.

John

G'morning, all! Thanks for the coffee, funnies and breakfast feast, Dave!

Clear and cold is the order of the day. The sun is shining brightly in a gorgeous, blue sky, but don't let that fool you...it's c-c-cold out there. It is currently -10°C/14°F with a feels-like of -14°C/7°F, and the high won't make it beyond -7°C/19°C with a windchill of -11°C/12°F. I must venture out shortly to get to a doc appointment and then run some errands. Pom-pom hat's at the ready...now, where's me mittens?

But first, more coffee. Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Mornin, Well friday 13 th curse day late ,broke my bedside water glass, inside door handle came off letting a dog out,and winter storm with 70km to100 km (45mph to 60mph) winds, temps 45F at the moment. Thanks Dave for the Comics and Coffee. Plans, fix dog doors handle, and napping. Cheers G

Morning all! Overcast and windy as heck. Rain most of the day with some sun peeking out here and there. 8C going up to 10C.

It will be a day of errands and household tasks, oh joy! I am also hoping to get the bike over to the mechanic for a peek at the noisy rear brake. Will likely have him do an oil change while he's at it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Thanks, Dave, Green Mountain I've had before, and i like it.

Meanwhile, it's almost 60 degrees out, windy, but quite pleasant with lots of sun for now. Expecting that to change to lots of dark clouds and rain later, but maybe the clouds will be like me and drag their feet, in no particular hurry to do what they know they must do.

Today I test the success of my chainsaw clutch repair effort. Let's go chop up some hollies! They have to be shortened to the bottom of the porch rails. And then the growth has to be carried to the backyard woodpile. I hate 'em, especially this time of year.

Hey, I had a thought... would a tractor work...?

Morning Dave & All from overcast, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 42F, up from 31F and heading for 51F. With the overcast, comes threats of rain & snow. But like always around here, it's not happening until there is something on the ground! No breeze, as of yet, but later, we should wee some winds out of the S @ 18 to 35mph.

Chris and I did some cabinet swapping yesterday. A old cabinet that we got from my mom's house a few years ago went into our bedroom, to make way from her new cabinets in the sewing room. We have the main parts built, but I need to connect to two with screws. Then put the doors on. Then, and ONLY then, will my part in it will be DONE! Chris then gets to fill them with her material.

And then I will take the rest of the day OFF!

Pancakes & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) to come later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Slept in today, not feeling the need for any pain meds at 48 hours after surgery so that is pretty awesome. Another day of taking it easy, I thought I might clean out the proverbial junk drawer in the kitchen but even leaning over to look down into the drawer causes some pressure, so I'll be skipping it.

Long morning, building a 10x10 deck for the lady that watches my dogs. Hopefully done tomorrow including roof. 12k steps before noon lol..not sure I hv 10 steps left the rest of the day.

Dood!
That looks like a WHOLE LOTTA WORK!
Two things:
1. the posthole diggers make me shudder. Stay away!
2. why didn't I know you have... dogS?
Lol, ground wasn't hard but other than loading and unloading the wood it wasn't too bad. Definitely not up to @SupraSabre standards.

My current pooches
