I despair, but I'll be less despairing after Italian Dark Roast and Croissants. Help ya'selves.
It's cool'ish, wet'ish, still'ish, so all right'ish.
Must remember to switch the charger off on The B. The roads resemble salty, muddy, briny, sludgy, thorny lanes of awfulness. So no riding anytime soon. Pffffffftttttt.
Today will start with trying to sort out some insurance, after failing to do that, who knows.
I think I need more coffee.
Av a gud un and remember, don't despair.

Good morning, everyone. Thanks Ray, for a great cup of coffee to start off a glorious day.

It’s still dark out, but it’s 50 and not snowing, so there’s that. Rain will dampen things this afternoon, as temps rise to upper 60’s. Can’t complain.

The egg shortage doesn’t really bother me, since my neighbors will gladly provide me with fresh eggs from their flock. They did get a bit testy when I asked about some wings.

When the sun decides to come up, I need to straighten up the garage and figure out the order for oil changes. 2 trucks, 3 mowers and a ATV. That Rotella ain’t gonna pour itself.

Morning all, and thanks Ray for the cup o 'despair.

-12/-18 here and still dark. The Sun will come out later and head upward to -4/-10. Not sure how long that will last, as we're under a blizzard watch, whatever that is. Don't think it'll amount to much in snow depth, but the winds can make it dangerous with whiteouts. For those of you never lucky enough for those, think pea soup fog you can't see you hand in front of your face, but it's blowing snow and stings your eyes. Part of why I carry ski goggles in the car in Winter. If you have to get out and go, you need to be prepared.

Speaking of being prepared, we eventually got out yesterday after more snow blowing and headed out of town to do motorcycle stuff shopping. Only made it to 2 places of the 4 I wanted, but I did manage to pickup a brand new Shoei Netoech3 modular helmet. Not inexpensive, but since my brain, and not my looks, make me my income, I guess it's worth it. My old Shoei is now 12 years old, so I guess it's due to be replaced anyway. Now I have to decide if I fit my Cardo I bought last year to it, or if I shell out $600 for the Sena that's custom made for this helmet (and that can't be used on anything other than this helmet....)

Never had a modular before... guess I'm getting old?

Hope everyone has a great day and gets a new lid.

Obo.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee, Ray.

It's sunny and 12f/-11c here in MA this morning, rising to 35f/2c and becoming cloudy, later.
We'll get snow, overnight, and I'm told to expect 5-8".

I did make it skiing, yesterday, and managed to get in 3 hours, before boredom set in.

Today, we'll head north into NH for the NEMRR awards banquet. We should be home before the worst of the storm, but we'll take the 4WD truck instead of Brenda's CX5.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning, all, and thanks for the café and croissants, Ray!

The white flakes seem to have decided to hold off until tonight and I'm looking at a clear, gloriously sunny day. The current temperature of -12°C/10°F (windchill -17°C/1°F) will climb to -6°C/21°F with a feels-like of -10°C/14°F this afternoon; not t-shirt weather, to be sure, but not polar vortex either. Layer properly and you're good. ("Layer?!" he exclaimed, "She won't even give me the time of day!").

@Obo: "Atomic Hotline Red"... heeeee!!

Everyone have an excellent Sat'dee, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Good morning all!
Thanks for the IDR hot start Ray!
Pretty quiet here on the river bank, we’re pretty much all a bunch of retired folks!
Our pontoon boat is in the water & running a treat, I’m just waiting for an excuse to go boating! It’s no ST, but it’s fun!
BTW
I’ve thought several times of bringing the ST south as I don’t need it up north anymore.
I just don’t feel comfortable driving on 2 wheels here, it’s hardly safe in a cage!
That’s my opinion, please be kind!

Yup, that's one of my two faves as well. The other is the Sumatra blend from Café William, which is a local company based in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Both are organic, Fair Trade brands. I know William distributes to grocery stores across Canada (Costco Sobeys, Safeway, Farm Boy, IGA, Loblaws, etc.) and their website should tell you if it's available near you. You can also get either brand online.

Morning all! It's 2C and overcast today. The high will be 4C which may put paid to most of the snow that's left on the ground, along with the rain that is forecast for this morning. Then cloudy with the odd bit of sun.

It's a full agenda today. Off to the hospital for a visit with my wife, then errands and chores, then back to the hospital with mother in law and niece in law, then dinner with MIL/NIL, then drop them at dance show that daughter has several groups she teaches performing in, back to hospital to say good night, back to pick up MIL/NIL , drop NIL at home and then back home with MIL. These are indeed, interesting times.

Hope everyone has a great day!

That’s a nasty break! Hope there is a fast recovery!

Morning Ray & all from sunny, Southern Utah!

Started off overcast, and the little girl, that lives across the street, got baptized, so we attended that. When we came out the overcast was gone and now it nice and sunny!

The current temp is 39F heading for 51F, and no breeze...yet! But fear not, later, we'll be seeing the winds from the WNW @ 10 to 17mph.

For those of you not watching my 2006 tear down, I managed to pull the frame off the engine using my tractor. So, next I need to clean up the engine and then start working on that.

Today, I'm just taking it easy, and taking a break from the bike project.

Boiled eggs with bacon, toast & OJ started the (early) morning. Pepsi(s) to come soon.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
