Ay up you bunch of sleepy layabouts, the Dark Italian Roast is ready and the Croissants are out of the oven. They're good. Help ya'selves.
Sunshine is what the day holds, a little cooler but OK. The garden autumnal tidy may continue in the pm. But then again.
The weather goes cooler and more wintry from tomorrow or so they're guessing. It could be an early winter, or not.
I'm surprised that the generator battery has accepted a charge, pleased but surprised. It's going Green/Green on the Optimate now in seconds. The genny oil has been ordered and should arrive next week.
My SW Motech adjustable footpegs for the B, not the genny, should arrive today if the postman decrees it. Isn't ebay a wonderful thing, what would we do without it.
I wonder how "Hoppy" is. And "Coughy" of course.
Av a gud un and remember, we don't need no education. Well maybe a little.
Upt.

Good Morning Satdee People!
Lovely brew, Mr Ray - many thanks for the pot!
Croissants....oh my!

Humph! Another brick in the wall kind of day - eh?
Unfortunately I'm still hoppin'
This ankle has had some historical abuse and each time is worserer.

Today looks mucho bettero than yesterday so yay! Outdoors is for me.
I can finish that painting of the swing and such.
I might even have to blow some leaves around the farm.

Could the ankle sustain a motorcycle ride?
Hmmm, maybe I should give it a day or two more.

Let's see what I can get into today...

Y'all have a wonderfilled day!

good morning all. coffee hit the spot this morning thanks Ray. 44F on the dog walk without the stars and clouds. only the bright moon and it was at 12 o'clock shinning straight down.
yesterdays gym and doctors appointment went well. it was a camera pushed up the nose and down the throat about 8 inch or so. doc put it on the big screen so wife could watch and give a running account of what's happening and how cool it was. I didn't think much of it.
today seems to be open so we will have to see how to fill it with something to do. maybe Chinese maybe not, we will see. and we will see 59F for our high. enjoy the day

stay safe

Morning all and thanks for the coffee Ray.

Happy Birthday Dave! :birthday:

Butter and flour, basked in the shape of a waxing, waning moon. Whooda thunk it?

Overcast and 5C outside here this morning. Still wet everywhere from yesterday's now melted once frozen precipitation. Only headed up to 7C today and still under the dismal skies.

Today will be a day of sanding drywall mud, and applying more to any spots that were not adequately plastered before. Part of the ongoing kitchen transformation in Oboville. We don't do it Weasel or 3B3 style, it's not really a sore saddle style either.... perhaps it's more of a Paul-ish style.

A shout out to @ToddC who I've seen has been about the forum, but silent here lately. We miss you buddy. Bringing up the rear is important, and poor Bob's been doing most of the lifting (and winning the race) in your and Paul's absences.

Now that I've named dropped, do you all feel better? Did you notice the rainbow sprinkles and garlic butter topping I added to some of the croissants? Pretty & flaky. Reminds me of some people I know. EDIT: no one here.

Anywho, I digress....

Hope you all have a most excellent day.

Oh, and remember to take a bow.

Obo.

Good morning, all, and thank you indeed for the coffee and croissants, Ray!

@STinner: A very Happy Birthday to you, Dave! Enjoy your day and no coughing!

It should be a pretty nice day, here in Montreal. It's a little nippy this morning, but not as nippy as it normally is at this time of year, with the current temperature sitting at 2°C/36°F with a feels-like of -1°C/30°F. The high will be a higher-than-normal 10°C/50°F with a windchill of 7°C/45°F, and we'll see mainly sunny skies all day. No complaints here. I'll be off in a bit to get the winter tires put on the cage. By law, they have to be on by December 1st in Quebec, so now's the time.

Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely. Eat cake.

Patty

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee and croussants, Ray.

It's 39 and sunny in MA this morning, rising to 60, later.

I'll head over to my friend's restaurant to replace some heat detectors, and let in the contractor, who will provide my friend an estimate to repair the fire damage from the other day.
Brenda and I still need to shop for various items for our new kitchen/bath. We found some lighting for the bath and over the island, but need to actually buy the items. I also suggested that we visit the building supply company where we sources our cabinets, in order to see what they had in the way of vanity mirrors.

Linner, somewhere...

Happy Birthday, Dave!

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the Italian (I think? that's been on offer lately but in my sleepy haze my reading comprehension and retention have suffered, and I'd have to scroll all the way back up there to check, and frankly I can't be bothered to put forth that much effort just yet. If I'm right, great. If I'm wrong, big deal- sue me.) roast Ray, and the croissants too.

sleepy layabouts

Yeah yeah that's me. I blame it on the same full moon that @Mr ed cited. I was wide awake from around midnight until well after 0300. At least I had an entertaining movie to finish watching, while I awaited the rearrival of Morpheus and The Sandman. (mmmm, Morpheus and The Sandman sounds like a band name. They could play soothing music to calm the soul at rest homes, or if they were feeling ironic it could be head-banging heavy metal.)

Happy Birthday Dave / @STinner and thanks as always for the daily collection of comics.

It's 53°F, breezy, and partly cloudy in Rockville now, headed for mostly sunny with a high around 59. That's right about the mild end of seasonal for this area.

Mrs. Fun and I will head to a local retirement center this afternoon, but not because we're anywhere close to ready to begin looking at such establishments as future residences. No, it's because a friend will be there along with others, all toting their ukuleles and putting on a show and jam session- presumably for the benefit and entertainment of the residents as well as the amusement and satisfaction of the performers but it's open to all comers. I'll wear a hula shirt and my lei, of course, but probably not shorts and flip flops or even sandals.

Other than that the only item on my agenda is trying to stay out of Mrs. Fun's way as she continues to prepare items for the raffle that's part of the upcoming Japanese American Citizen's League cultural event on 8 December. She's been wading through the collection of donated items, sorting, cleaning, and organizing everything. Sometime in the next couple weeks I anticipate there will be a wrap party held here. Not the end-of-filming sort of wrap party, but one where the raffle items are packaged up and made presentable for sale. Loads of clear cellophane will be involved, along with various ribbons, bows, and other decorative accoutrements.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them.

Thx Ray!
And happy birthday @STinner !

Had an early performance with the choir in a nearby city this morning…thus my usual friday activities were a bit short yesterday.
And just to tease me, I’ve been ordered to pick up my MIL at the airport late this evening, if the plane is able to land….
Hard to be nice sometimes, but what would Jesus do?

7˚c/45f, 55 mph wind from west, hail, sleet and rain. Car and house covered in salt again.
Will tidy up the garage tomorrow, so I can get the Rav4 under roof.
Winter IS coming….pfffffft!

Have a good one!
Stu

I use to swim at that beach in the summer…….not today.

Thanks for the coffee and croissants, Ray.

Look! A squirrel! Sorry for the distraction, but there really is a squirrel outside. One of dozen. I blame the pecan trees.

Another sunny day out. Mid 70's in the afternoon. May bump the preload up on the rear shock and take the missus for a ride. It would be her first time on the ST.

The MotoGP Sprint race has ended. Jorge Martin ended up third. Rats. Will have to wait for the final race tomorrow to decide the champ.

Started watching Vertigo last night. We'll finish that up this evening. With any luck, I can pick up a new phobia.

Have a blessed day!

Good morning All, Wife getting ready for Ballet class so should be able to get some typing in.
Weather, cold and cloudy and wet,46F . Hopefully have fixed the automatic Cat litter box. Star tore up the rubber matting so machine was leaking on the floor. Sealed holes with my glue gun the then painted the bottom with Rustolem rubber paint. All for a Cat that cost $20 bucks,Yeah bag of food cost more. Have got my money's worth as Star is the oldest pet I have had at 14 years old. So today's plan bring box into house and see if I did good! Then some shopping at the drug store ,ran out of some meds.
Chemo yesterday had good news hemoglobin is upto115 from 93 , and my body is getting some strength back. Next nicer day will go try riding my bicycle, haven't riden bike or Lady since February 22.
Big thanks to all of you here for keeping me Positive to heal and ride soon. G

Morning Ray & All from sunny/rainy/snowy kind of a day in Southern Utah!

Currently (it was snowing just minutes ago) it is 36F, up from 29F and heading for 42F. The winds are out of the NNE @ 6 to 8mph and it's been snowing off/on since yesterday afternoon, but it is melting not long after it hits the ground.

Happy birthday Dave! ( @STinner )

@ToddC , good to see you back! :hat3:

With the little amount of sleep I've gotten over this last week, due to my stomach not wanting to play nice, I really haven't gotten too much done. I still need to get power out to the shed. We are going by Harbor Freight today, maybe I'll check to see what they have to keep batteries charged, until I can get the power out there. :unsure-2x:

All I had for breakfast was a piece of toast and a Pepsi. The OJ doesn't do well with an upset stomach.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Morning all! Groundhog Day here; grey and wet. 6C with a predicted high of 7C.

Multiple tasks on the docket for the day; windows cleaning, furniture browsing/possibly purchasing, assorted other tasks of which I have been informed but since forgotten- the brain blocks out traumatic events as protection for the soul.

Todd, hope the distraction has been positive and not negative and that you and yours are doing well.

Happy birthday Dave!

Hope everyone has a great day and here's mud in your eye!
