Short video with me driving home from the motorcycle shop after getting my new front tire.
Basically from Orange CA to Chino CA by way of a canyon road.
Nothing spectacular, just fun stuff, KInd of a ride along on my ST1300PA with all my farkles lit up
Enjoy

Come on now, that wasn't ALL your farkles lit up. I didn't see one flashing strobe, or any colour... :law1:

Also interested in the HUD. Do excuse me while I read your old posts....

He did blip the siren at the beginning (28sec) unless that was a radio mic click. :)

Electronic air horn. I keep promising myself to put one on my bike.

Air horns blips at video time stamp 7:20 and 9:50 to get some filter space.

A couple of times very early in the flick to let cagers to my port that were moving starboard that i was there.

I replaced the OEM roadrunner horn switch to activate the air horn. The other 2 siren modes, wail and phaser, are on the right grip switches.

As for the HUD, search these forums for Poor Mans HUD

Ill have to remember to go through all the popo toys at another time when Im away from civies.

Nice video, looks as exciting as most of my commuter rides, except mine are over twice as long! :(

Keep up the good work you're doing...someday we'll need to meet up! :thumb:

I always figured it was part of the siren, like on firetrucks.
That's true with police/fire/AV8R's kit but the electronic air horn is available separately from manufacturers like Whelen. Unless I could find an all in 1 that's smaller I'll go with the Whelen. It'll keep me from temptation. CA frowns on unauthorized use of emergency lights and siren. The horn I'll take my chances with the horn.

"Id rather be judged by 12, than carried by 6"
I'm familiar with it. It was vaguely implicit in my The horn I'll take my chances with the horn remark. Too vaguely I guess.

Of course you know you'd possibly judged and fined by one despite the bravado of that old saw. So I assume then you're not authorized use a siren. My bad.

So what did you use for a speaker (assuming you got the air horn amp)? Something obviously waterproof or a horn type speaker.

No you assumed right. Im authorized for anything on an emergency vehicle except blue lights;

My code3 lights are set up on the cop grips switchology so I can turn on
- just rear. When waiting for a signal light change, dont want to cause an accident
- front and rear. When rolling
- wigwags. When rolling and extra attention is needed

It's a future project not yet started. I've found the amp. The speaker is the issue at this point - horn type. It's on a TD list.
