Recent domino events starting with buying a new phone, a larger phone. Now I need a new case and then a larger phone holder for the bike. See how the price of the phone is only the beginning? After reviewing MANY phone holders of various configurations and soliciting advice from LDRider I narrow in on the QuadLocks. But their web page doesn't really answer some of my questions, the main one being "if I buy the anti-vibration module and the wireless charging module and need a 1" ram ball, how do these pieces fit together?" I talked with their AI chatbot which was very frustrating and made me do a lot of typing to no avail. So I call for an actual human which I think may have been AI bot 2.0. No one understands the question. So I put it more simply, do these components snap together? Bolt together? How does it work? After many chatbox exchanges the "human" says one long bolt through everything, but I have no confidence in that answer. So screw it, I'll order it and if necessary we'll JB weld the damn thing together.

It arrives. Nice quality pieces, but the instructions are .... skimpy. I put it together and snap their proprietary case on. Takes some effort. Now it won't come off. I try some brute force, cause I'm a guy. No dice. This thing is never going to vibrate off the bike or accidentally come free. It's locked! The instructions say twist 45 degrees and lift off. Not helpful. After a minute of using my noggin instead of brute force I figure it out. Appears to be a very fine solution to phone charging and secure attachment. Just don't expect to get any tough questions answered, you know, like, how does it attach.

I'm using it as well and it keeps the phone charged at 100% even while streaming music and having highway radar and waze running at the same time.

You do have to make sure the side 'paddles' of the charger head are on the sides of the phone. That way when you grab the phone your fingers will push down on those paddles.. otherwise it's a bear to get off.

@jodog, you should have come to Customer Service here instead of the website.:rofl1:

Seriously, iirc, you are supposed to pull down on the large (charging) disk under the phone. I think my set came with one of those multi national instruction sheets that have pictorial instructions that cannot be deciphered by anyone.
