Recently I have been testing different trim restorers on my 2010 ST1300. My bike spends a lot of time in the weather. The testing is very slow because time between products is 6 months.
I tried Turtle Wax's Trim restorer based on a thread here and it appeared to do well. 6 months later its faded and has a lot of oxidation, especially on the saddle bags. I tried some Mother's CMX yesterday but was disappointed about the coloring.

As if by an answer to a prayer, Project Farm posted a video on different trim restorers. Cerakote came out on top. What do you guys think? Anyone try it on the ST1300 yet?

Looks like Cerakote takes it!
I tend to buy used stuff. Some of it pretty well used. In trying to make things look better I've used quite a few different treatments. The one I'm currently using (before I try cerakote - lol) is Car Guys Premium Plastic Restorer. I find it works better than many he tested, but it still doesn't quite get it for me. On plastic that are extremely faded is works, but has resulted in an uneven color - not terrible, but not consistent. I am talking about extremely faded plastic so maybe my expectations are too high, but I will say this, it works TONS better than most of what he tested.
I think the ONLY one that could beat the Car Guys stuff I use is the Cerakote - I'll have to give it a try.
Car Guys Plastic Restorer!

It wasn't in the test but I've used Wipe New before and it worked great on my ST1300 black plastic and a 20 year old Honda CR-V. I did it three or four years before I sold the bike and it still looked good.

Thanks for posting this! Plastic restorers is something I never think of.
I usually just grab classic Armor All...

I just watched this today at lunch and thought about getting some of that one. I have used the Mother's Back to Black and it was okay. I'm parked inside when not riding and only did a single coat, on some parts. You can still see the difference.
