It wasn't until last week that I even knew this platform existed until I saw one for sale. Contacted the seller and set up the meet. As soon as I sat on the bike I knew she would be perfect for what I had in mind. I am not sure what kind of slack I will get but here it goes. I wanted to build a "Cafe Racer/ Bobber" so here is where I am at. Ordered a new headlight, tail light for it as well as overflow tank that will relocate to the front. Looking into a digital gauge cluster if anyone has any suggestions. I know the Speedo needs to
Be mechanical so the ones I am looking at have both. Before I went any further, I zip tied the lights back on and went and got it inspected so I can get it registered. With that said, I will have a few parts available if anyone is looking.

Will do. So far I have the nose clip, windshield, tail fairings, main fairings with grey compartment pieces, clock, front wheel fairing, side bag brackets and mirrors. Will have the tail lights and headlight soon as well. I'm in Jacksonville NC.

Welcome to the forum from Cornwall UK! Please post pictures of your project as you progress.
Waiting for headlight and taillights to arrive. May start cutting off metal tabs that hold the fairing on since they will never go back on.

Excellent. I would like just about everything, and there'd be no shipping.

I have a friend in Wilmington I'm expecting to visit in the near future.

You can receive messages now, so I'll send one.

It's been done in several flavors... some ideas:

Update: Cut a few pieces off to clean it up. Installed headlight and tail lights. Rigged up a temporary mirror to make it road legal. Still researching the digital/ analog cluster. Also put a bunch of hole in the exhaust for better sound. Should have just cut out the baffles lol

My 2000 ST1100 has the same faded paint scheme. I guess it is common.

You should get rid of the gas tank cover and go full industrial.
