Pelican case for top box - any QD options?

Thinking ahead, I will definitely want to use a top case for longer or even overnight trips. I love Pelican cases, and like the idea of using one as a top case, however, when this is done most of the time they are simply bolted to a rack.

Has anyone ever worked up some manner of quick detach for them? I'd love something that's briefcase or suitcase like that I can pop off and carry like luggage.
 
Looks good. I did find Caribou when I searched around. They do say they have kits for Givi mounts... I don't know how difficult it would be to find Honda mounting hardware for the ST1100, but I would expect Givi stuff is still available.
 
The Givi rack for the ST1100 isn't made anymore as far as I know, but they are plentiful and not horribly difficult to find.
