Old(ish) member, new ST

Just picked her up today. I sold my ST1100 a few years ago, and while I enjoyed that bike it had seen better days and the previous owner had done some rather questionable repairs.

Fast forward to this season and while looking for a new sport touring bike I ran across this 1300 in good condition at a rather nice price:

Only 38xxx miles, and in very good condition with only 1 scratch that I found on the RH bag. It's still too cold and icy to ride up here in Michigan but I look forward to getting back on another ST this season sooner rather than later.
 
Welcome back from Scotland.

Strange request you would think but check rear shock not in shipping position.

Seen this issue on higher mileage bikes both in UK and US.

Get suspension set correctly and you will have a great Sports Tourer.
