Hey all, I was just looking into getting a timing belt for my new-to-me 2001 ST1100 but having surprisingly few options for finding one. I decided to go to Gates website and I can't find the t325!! I think they discontinued it?!

Try your local auto-parts stores, O'reilly, Advance, Autozone, etc.

but I see what you mean about it not being currently listed on the Gates website, may be discontinued and once they're gone, no more left.

Got mine from Rockauto, mind you that was two years ago.
I emailed Gates Corp asking if the T325 belt had been discontinued. I got this response:
You would need to contact Gates Corporation in Denver for Automotive belts. The T325 may be discontinued but you can call 800-766-9504 it will connect you with our Automotive replacement belt team.

No, I don't need the belt, nor do I have the original part number that might help a cust. service person find the appropriate belt. It never ceases to amaze me how we avoid going to the source that can provide hard information. In this case, if Gates has indeed discontinued the belt.

I did see the cross reference chart but a couple of thoughts here. I thought I saw that the Dayco 92420 belt was not a round tooth belt
And I thought someone had posted about there being counterfeit Gates belts out there. Many of the brands/models of belts listed seem to be for European cars not available here in North America.
