New week coffee and weather - 2 December

Good morning, all. Thanks, Keith

Brrrrr….I saw 19F on the truck, driving into town to visit the ortho doc. New hip gets installed 1/22, due to lack of cartilage in the joint. He said it wasn’t the worst he’d had seen, but the worst shape and still be walking without a cane or walker.

Morning all! Grey and foggy here this morning. 5C right now with sun and 6C predicted for later. Given the thick cloud I remain somewhat skeptical but will reserve judgment. Still, it was a pleasant enough ride in to work so there's that.

One of my mother in laws (yep, I am lucky enough to have two, sincerely, they are both great) arrived safely yesterday and made appropriate oooh and aaah gushing noises over the house. She will help my wife get things cleaned up and various bits and bobs place in their proper homes. I'm not quite sure what I did all day but it seemed to take up most the of day and left me snoozing in my recliner by 6 pm. Deadly things recliners, they deadly soporific devices. No idea how I managed to get through without one before :) .

Hope everyone has a great day and have a recline, if you're so inclined!

Morning Keith & All from mixed clouds and Sun in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 35F, up from 25F and heading for 49F. No breeze yet, but never fear, we'll have some winds later, coming from the NNW @ 6 to 7mph.

Other than church, neither Chris nor I were in any mood to do anything! We are still trying to recover from our short trip to SoCal! :redface-2x:

Today, if I get the energy, I'll try to rewire the outlet on the back of the house for my tractor shed. We'll see. :chairfall1:

Eggs, bacon, toast and OJ (no Vodka added) to start the morning. Pepsi(s) to follow.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
