New V1 Android interface / app

Just received an e-mail with a link over to this page highlighting the new Android app that syncs up with the Valentine One. Haven't had a chance to fully read what it does, whether or not it is helpful or download the app to play around with it myself, but thought I'd pass this along since I hadn't seen it mentioned here on the forum yet.

I dig radar and Lidar- for the life of me see no use for that product...I hope its just a poor advertisement or I'm missing something. There are so many other better things they could have put that work into.

Great, so now 2 devices can let me know every time I get a false reading. I wish radar detectors would get with it and improve technology. After trying a $300+ Escort detector in hopes it did a better job, it was still nothing more than a noise machine that I had to turn off to get any quiet...which made it useless. Adding graphics to the mess doesn't sound like fun.

Which one did you try? I have the 9500ix and it turns off under a certain speed (speeds where I couldn't get a ticket anyway) and senses speed via GPS, so it lengthens the detector's range when I'm going fast.
