Hi All, just a quick intro as a new member, had my 1994 ST1100 for a couple of years now, the posts on this forum have been excellent and very helpful as Ive had to replace the corroded swingarm and in the process of replacing the stator on the alternator, lol, both were highlighted as being regular failings of the bike. Happy riding for 2025 everyone.

More local than a UK owners club there is a Scottish Owners Club.

Look for Scottish Pan Riders on Facebook. Or visit their stand at the Scottish Motorcycle Show in two weeks time.

This suggestion might be to late, I have been away for a month and am just catching up.
Rather than replacing the stator it would be advisable to replace the whole alternator with the newer 40 amp air cooled version that came on the 1996 and later model years.
