The coffee's ready folks. Open those sleepy eyes. Italian Dark Roast awaits your delectation.
The storm has passed, the morning is quite resplendent. If still a little blowy but bright and mild. We can see a lot more this morning, the view has opened up with a few million leaves heading towards Norway.
It sounds like there's a few trees down locally, thankfully not ours.
Today will be barnet cutting day, it is decreed by she who must be obeyed. I'll need a woolly hat.
Other than that there'll be more some'ats or t'others.
Av a gud un and remember, the leaves will be back.
Also remember when in Rome, eat Cannolis.
Upt.

Thx for coffee and leaves Ray!
Little sleep, Rays’ second hand wind pounding our house through the night at about 60mph.
No damages, some garden furniture have rearranged themselves, probably in a biodynamic kind of way.

Wind down to 40mph, no rain, probably safe for me to get out and buy some sour cream for our salmon dinner.

Today is updating several VST instruments for my DAW, they haven’t been used for a looong time.
My brain is already screaming OVERLOAD!!!!

Have a good and quiet one!

Good Morning Coffee Roasters!
Thank you, Ray for a fine cuppa. I think I'll have another!
No storms thru Paradise thankfully - glad you two are fine.

Yesterday's garage antics went well albeit took too long to figure out the coolant thingy.
My lovely wife's car stuffs a lot under the hood and finding the radiator drain was useless.
It didn't work and I wasted an hour with it. Sorry GM. It was a s&&&&y idea.
30 seconds later the old coolant was released after a radiator hose was removed - simple.
Design Room: "Hey, how can we over-complicate coolant changes?"

Lovely Fall weather has beFALLen us here - who knows? A ride might be in order.
Wrenches and projects might could wait a day or two or three...
No snow in the forecast.

@ibike2havefun Keith those are great pictures. Keep posting.
I'm visiting Italy vicariously and enjoying it! Thats-a-nice.
A friend of mine is touring Northern Michigan and I'm enjoying that too!

Y'all have a winderfilled day!

good morning all. thank you Ray for the coffee this morning. 54F on the dog walk with a dark sky full of stars. the clouds must of took the night off as I didn't see a one anywhere. made it to the gun range yesterday and had a good time, I can still hit the target with a fair respect to the bullseye in the center.

have gym this morning and when I done there I will stop by my work and have lunch with one of my old coworkers and catch up on gossip around the University.
our high should hit 87F with a small breeze. enjoy the day

stay safe

Morning all and thanks for the coffee, Ray.

8C for the ride into work (in the dark) but it'll be 19C for the ride home in the sunlight. Yay!

It's a virtual doctors visit for me this morning and then provincial voting after work, to help pick the new person we elect to lead us astray and take our money. Sort of akin to going to the police line up, selecting the crook of your choice, and freely giving them your wallet for the next few years. Democracy, yay!

Yesterday, Mrs. Obo and I did in deed get out for 5 hours on the Wing, visiting the province's newest provincial park. The road now connects to a National Park so you can drive straight thru. The views were amazing. I imagine we'll buy an annual pass for next year so we can visit it more often to ride, hike and just enjoy the views on the multitude of look offs. Also passed a Ford GT (2005-ish) that was parked on the side of the road. That's the first of these I've seen in person.

You get the idea...

When the tide is out (we have about 20' of height change from low to high tide) you can walk on the ocean floor and into the sandstone caves out at the point in the photo below.

Hope you all have an excellent day!

Obo.

Thanks for the REAL coffee this morning Ray, this is no time for cooling around, er, typo... this is no time for fooling around.

It's 45 out, so I mashed the Snooze button for 30 minutes. 80 is predicted for this afternoon. This is nuts. The leaves are still mostly green here and hanging on for dear life, but acorns are pelting the driveway and anything parked nearby.

Changed the engine and the final drive oil in the Big Mule GSA Saturday, rode to church Sunday, rode to the men's group later, and found i forgot to replace the skid plate because I was rushed to get to our niece's housewarming party Saturday. I hate to be rushed.

But when I repeatedly turn off the alarm ⏰️ in the morning, being rushed is a self- inflicted situation, now, innit? I still hate being rushed.

So y'all are spared from my incoherent morning ramblings, to a small extent, as I must get out of here and head to the office.

Guess I'll reinstall the skid plate in the dark tonight after work.

Have as good as day as you can make it, and stay warm.

Good morning, all, and thanks for the coffee, Ray!

Yup, it's Indian Summer, all right. It's a beautiful, sunny morning and there will be sunshine all day, with a few clouds thrown into the mix for good measure. It's 15°C/59°F right now, and the high will be 22°C/72°F with a feels-like of 24°C/75°F. Crazy for late October!! Glad I haven't put all my summer stuff away yet. (In fact, I'm not sure where I'm going to put it when I do!)

It's a very welcome day off for me, so I'll go find some trouble to get into. "Flex" days are great - everyone else is working, so there aren't the usual crowds in stores and other places of business.
I went for a lovely little stroll through our nature preserve in the late afternoon yesterday and took some pics of the colours. Andrew's right, they're not as vibrant this year as they normally are, but they're quite lovely, nonetheless. I'll leave you with a couple of samples and wish you all a wonderful day. Stay safe and go safely. Keith, keep those wonderful pics coming and keep on enjoying!

Mornin’ y’all. Thanks for the coffee, Ray.

47/80 and not a cloud in the sky. The only plan for today is installing new headlights in the Trailblazer. The old “frosted” set doesn’t light up the road very well.

Flex" days are great

I love Flex days. Especially if we’re referring to my knees.

Today is updating several VST instruments for my DAW, they haven’t been used for a looong time.

Now, you’ve confused everyone. Next, they’ll be asking how many samples will fit in an envelope.

Morning Ray & All from SUNNY, Southern Utah!

Well, we are done with the First Winter! The snow is all gone and if the mud dries out enough, I'll be able to get out and level out my new shed area, before I start dumping concrete on it! :think1:

Currently it is 47F, heading for 67F. A slight breeze now, but later, we'll see the winds out of the SW @ 9 to 10 mph.

Chris is in ST George for the week, so I have all week without Adult Supervision. What could go wrong! Too bad I have that shed foundation to do, or I would take off on one of the bikes for a few days! :well1:

Fried eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. I'll have a Pepsi or two later! :wine2:

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Morning all! It's a bright blue sky sunny kind of day here today. So of course, I took the car. Stupid need to get groceries.... It's 7C with 11C on the way.

Not much exciting going on today. A meeting here, a meeting there, the odd forgotten task or project that I will absolutely need to finish today; I've come to the end of the book of excuses and there ain't no more pages. That's what you get for buying the abridged paperback version I guess.

Obo, those are some great pics and the curves ain't bad either....on the road. Yeeesh, you people.

Hope everyone has a great day and don't get driven round the bend....unless of course you're driving and you want to!

John, easy to fix those headlights.. I did that with a Miata I bought a few years ago, much cheaper if you haven't already gotten the new ones.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Ray.

It was 52 and sunny on my drive to the house this morning, and it'll rise to 78, later.

The weekend went well, and everyone had fun.
Were got to see some interesting cars and racing, as well as some poor driving.
Everyone was safe, but some cars went home with a few more dents.

Today, Brenda is doing laundry, and I'm at my ophthalmologist.
I got a text from our builder saying that the insulation guy might stop by to measure, and he expects the windows this week, sometime.

I'll try for a gym visit and maybe a walk

Enjoy your day,
Steve

Joe, I’ve polished these lights, but the crazing is more than skin deep. Mother’s aluminum wheel polish goes a long way, with bigger container and lower price. I even have 1500 and 2000 grit paper, but by the time I got them clear, I’d be sanding on the bulb. I already have the old ones out, but had to come in to change from black shirt and long pants. Already 75, with no clouds to block the sun. Sweating, toward the end of October…who’d a’thought it?

@Weaselinsuit you need a trailer for the groceries, and a new Wing to tow it with.

I really like the colour as well.....

Unfortunately, new motorcycle purchases have been temporarily placed on hold pending completion of education of various spawn. Though I could add a trailer to the ST.....
