It's dark, proper dark, I want my sun back and I want it now!
Pffffffftttttt.
The Dark Italian Roast is ready, help ya'selves.
It's a bit less brrrrrrrr and a bit less, "where's my hat gone ethel", but it's definitely winter. Google informs me it may or may not be snowing and that it may or may not snow. We'll just have to wait and I see I spose once I can see further than the inside of my double glazed glass.
Er'Indoors insists we get off to Alnwick upon the Aln for a little Christmas food shoppin, definitely not holiday food shoppin. I'm guessing it'll include, alcohol, meat and dairy products and anything containing more than 1000 calories.
Sounds like a good day.
But first, the coffee.

Av a gud un and remember, Noddy is about to erupt, yes he is.
Upt.

Sunrise 8:35 am-Sunset 3:39 pm......pffffffftttttt.

Thx Ray, that helped!
Coffee, not weather report.

Sun up 09:35, down 15:41, if it even bothers to rise.

5˚c/41f, 25mph wind (down from 50 during the night), showers, it’s all a bit meh, but it could be worse.

Went to sleep at 7:30 last night and slept for thirteen hours…note to self: Don’t ever get anyone pregnant again.

Need some antirust stuff for my sons car.
Need more beer.
Mode switched to holiday.
A family dinner later, I’m chefing/cheffing?

Have a good one!
Stu

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Ray.

It's 11f in Boston this morning under clear skies.
It'll be 50f when we get to Portland, Oregon, later.

We had a good time at our neighbor's Christmas party, yesterday, and then came back home to finish packing.
Were never did sleep, although the odd cat nap occurred.

Our son will pick us up at PDX, when we arrive around 10.

The plumbers should be continuing their work, today and maybe tomorrow.
So far, it looks pretty good :

There's still quite a bit to be done, before it's fully completed, though.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the Italian roast Ray.

It's 16°F in Rockville- that's definitely "Brrrrrrrr!!!!" territory in my book. We'll top out at the freezing mark under sunny skies. I', glad to live at my latitude and not at Ray's or Stoo's; I'll be polite and commiserate over their late sunrises and early sunsets rather than reporting the times of those events at my house. I couldn't live that far north (or, probably, south) in the winter and lack of daylight in the winter would be a big reason why.

I've got a dermatologist appointment at 0900 and baking to see to after that, so better get the initial bout of uke practice in now.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell you dear ones you love them.

Morning all, and thanks for the coffee, Ray.

It's really cold here this morning. -16C with a windchill of -20. Proper bitter is that wind! Highs will only reach -11C, and there's a special weather statement for tonight into tomorrow night of up to a foot of the white stuff. Sounds like a typical day up North in Canada eh? I'll have to make sure Nanook (my pet polar bear) has enough whale blubber in his bowl in his igloo kennel out back. Who's a good polar bear?

Hope you all keep warm and have your holiday shopping more than 50% done.

You only have 2 more sleeps.

Obo.

good morning all. thank you Ray for the coffee this morning. 53F on the dog walk with complete cloud cover for as far as I could see. there was just a spot where the moon tried but failed to show its self. still a good walk. the weather guessers say it should clear up starting around 9am. the high should be 74F. enjoy the day

stay safe

Ray Italian roast sounds great, thanks. I could take a cup out to the shop and stare longingly at my Guzzi :)

WI weather has been dismal which can be expected this time of year. This morning I woke to a "Winter Weather Advisory" hmmm? No precipitation in the forecast so I guess it's just another day that's not fit to get a bike out.

Meeting friends for some really bad coffee this morning. Good friends but they frequent a place that has the worst coffee! Bad enough to turn me into a tea drinker! Maybe I'll bring some of ray's Italian roast with me!

2 more sleeps and I'll be southbound to visit the wife!

Hope everyone has a great day. Be safe out there.

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the coffee, Ray.

When I got up, I thought, “Wow, the sun really is rising earlier.” Then I realized that I had slept an hour later than usual.

The weather, according to Teddy is “Nope”. He took one look out the door, and went back to bed. As the sky starts to lighten, it’s 24, but should rise to 50 under sunny skies. Looks like it may be good weather to start my Christmas shopping, although I usually don’t start this early. Then I’ll decorate the fridge, by adding a festive looking carton of eggnog.

Only 179 days til summer.

John

Thanks for the coffee Ray, it is sorely needed this chilly AM.

-4F (-20C) here in my little clearing between the trees. The weather guessers say it should hit 21F at some point today. Skies should be starting with a few clouds but by this time tomorrow should have filled in and delivered up to another 4 inches of snow.

Today will be wrapping presents for the grands and maybe some baking, there is a lemon pound cake recipe that is calling my name!

Be safe, be careful and be wary of that yellow snow!

Scott

Good morning, all, and thanks for the coffee, Ray!

Our forecast is somewhat similar to Obo's, though it seems to be a couple of minuscule degrees warmer here. It's currently -12°C/10°F with a feels-like of -16°C/3°F, and the temp will eventually top out at -7°C/19°F with a feels-like of -11°C/12°F. The sun will make an attempt at shining until about 4, when the flakes start to fall. They'll continue to fall through to tomorrow morning and will leave us with enough white stuff to pretty much guarantee the proverbial white Christmas; not that it'll make much difference to me, as I'll be winging my way to the land of allimagators and palm trees. I have a couple of last-minute errands to run this morning and one last load of laundry to do, and then it's time to start packing.

Everybody have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Good morning all!
Thanks for the festive start Ray!

That Teddy is a smart dog! Good boy!

@Donk & anyone else, if any of you get close to North Fort Myers FL, you can contact me for a meet up. My phone number is listed in the RAN list.

I’m not shopping this year, our January cruise is a mutual Christmas gift.

My cholesterol count has gone pretty high, from what I can see, 205 is way too high! Too much beer & too little exercise!

I found a replacement golf cart, I’ve even been paid for the Club Car we lost when Milton did his thing!

59/79F with a ENE breeze. Lots of sun to warm things up!
Enjoy your Monday!
Just 2 more sleeps…
WB
