Lest we forget, it's coffee time. The Dark Italian Roast is ready, help ya'selves.
The sun's up, still but cool'ish. 38 to 51.
Today will be spent gardening whilst the weather's good. For good, read dry. Can we have our Sicilian 100 f's back please, I'll never complain about it being hot ever again, never, ever.
It definitely feel likes the riding season is over but I'll leave The B uncovered for now, pffffffftttttt.
I took a picture of Tommy yesterday, can you spot his new mate, flappy little blighter.
Av a gud un and remember, remember.
Upt.

G'Day...

1°C, fog drizzle, ghastly weather... won't see more then 3°C today... GF bravely weathering it off on her NT700VA... (she would have never done so on her Kaw ER-5...)
Yep, good gear (Gore stitches, Sympatex/Windstopper undergarment, etc...) does pay off...
Seems I'll have to rip it out her claws before the washing places on the gas stations close down for the winter... its still covered in Scottish Crusts(R)...
she rides the wheels off that thing, but doesn't care much about cleaning it... ;)

The new winter/snow tires on the trusty Toyota stick like stink on a monkey... first time with them on wet/cold roads... perfect...

Office, just finished another € 107,500,- offer... we'll see if it takes...
Brought a new vessel for my Nescafé 3in1 sludge :coffee:, dunno if they'll break or nick it...

IMG_20241111_104926.jpg

Rummaged in the shed yesterday, seems I'll have to build some shelves for all my small parts boxes; crimp and housing shells, bullet connectors, fuses/holders, hose-clamps, etc...
Also need something with large drawers for the model dedicated parts; brakes, coolant hoses, electrical, etc...
The P-touch will work overtime, but its getting cluttered and I want it more efficient... left side of the shelf NT700, right side ST1100, etc...

The air2air heat pump does an excellent job though, the 8°C frost protect kept around 10°C, up to comfy 22°C in no time with the push of a button... € 400,- well invested...

Hope to see a few warmer days so we can ride the bikes there for some service and upgrades...

have a good day

cheers!

Thx Ray!
Seems like the older I get, the closer to history I am, and that’s pretty scary.

Today is 8˚c/46f, calm, showers.
Planning on a cheat day.

Came across a 2005 st1300 being parted out yesterday, seller located in Norway. The pgm-fi ecu had the same partnumber as mine, so I bought it. Will get it in a few days, but it might take a while before I can test it. It’s getting colder next week, and I don’t like riding in salt.

Choir practice later.
Have a good one!

Good morning, all. Thanks for the coffee, Ray.

60/69 for today. Partly cloudy, but clearing mid-day. I’m getting my hairs cut this morning, followed by a trip to Lowe’s, before heading to Wal upon the Mart, to pick up my grocery order.

Possibly a little yard work this afternoon.

John

Good Monday Morning all!
Thanks Ray for the heaps of caffitation - *sluuuurp*

Long ride home from the WNC wedding venue yesterday.
But always enjoyable with my lovely wife and I joking most of the way.

Swannanoa has been cleaned up for driving, but the sadness of smashed cars and buildings prevailed.
The whole trip was a reminder of the devastation caused by the hurricane.
Great mounds of trees, ruined buildings and washed out river basins were seen - and we didn't/couldn't see the worst.

Today will be back to good eating and no garbage food. An upset stomach from partying will help that!
Rain greeted the morning here in Paradise so I'm left with indoor fun.
Hmmm, what could that entail? Wiring lights on the RTV? Replacing seals on an engine?
Mr Tractor's loader cylinders need some seals too.
One never knows.

Y'all have a winderfilled day!

Morning all, and thanks for the coffee, Ray.

November 11th. Lest we forget.

All gave some. Some gave all. Everyone from that time is history now.

It's a holiday here, with most things closed other than gas stations and the attached convenience stores and some take out food places. It's currently 8C under a light rain, headed to a cloudy 12C for the high. A dismal day, as it would have been all those years ago.

We may not make the official observances this year at 11am, but if not will do the moment of silence wherever I am. I didn't know these folks, nor they me, but I recognize a debt owed that can never be repaid.

I hope you all have an excellent day, regardless of where you are or what you do.

Obo.

<Yawn> <stretch> <blink><blink><blink>

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the Italian roast Ray.

It's a mild 56°F and partly cloudy in Rockville. It's also damp, as we got a good long wetting yesterday evening, breaking a 35 day (maybe more, I lost track a while back) stretch without measurable precipitation. Now we start another one although there's a chance of rain sometime Thursday. We'll have a high today around 73, then descend to more seasonally-appropriate numbers for the next several days at least.

The horde of in-laws is gradually dispersing. We're down to the final two, who are due to depart my home and return to the netherworld today. I'm definitely looking forward to reestablishing a quiet, orderly daily routine rather than the chaotic whirlwind of the past several days.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Just don't let them import their relatives.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Ray.

It's 55 and cloudy in MA this morning, rising to 65 and becoming partly sunny, later.
We had some rain overnight, but not enough to dampen the fires in the area.
Fortunately, not in my local area.

I got out for a walk, yesterday, with the neighbor's dog, and did a bit of cleaning up upstairs.
We still have boxes up there, that won't go back into the attic, until the plumbing and electrical work is finished.

I'll try for the gym and walk, today.
I've got to buy some more half and half, at least. It's supposed to flow, not plop into my cup, right?

Have a great day,
Steve

Thanks for the coffee Ray, I only hit Snooze twice today. Maybe it was three.

I'll try to do better about posting in the mornings this week. Some of you will be sad, I know.

Alabama dismantled LSU Saturday, to maintain their hopes of a playoff seat. Looked like the "old" Crimson Tide, so it was a good day. One of our presidential candidates promised we would "get tired of winning", but i think he was talking about something else... either way, I could stand some more wins.

Watched the Yellowstone premier of the final season. Without spoiling anything, and knowing Costner wants to leave the 8yr-running series, the opener set up the ending. It was a shocker.

I've come to admire Taylor Sheridan's writing and productions. 1883, 1923, Lioness, and others.

***** is someone running a chainsaw at 10 after 7 in the morning! What an arse!

Just to remind me to fix the clutch on mine? What an arse! I actually called to speak to a service guy at TriGreen Friday, for some insight or ideas, still can't get my old clutch basket off. The service fella had already left. That slacker.

No holiday at work, so I got to move out.

Oh yeah... drizzle and fog till maybe noon, high in the low 70s. Bleach.

Enjoy the day, ride if ya can.

Good morning, all, and much obliged, Ray!

It's a grey, damp, chilly, drizzly, Novembery Remembrance Day here as well. I believe we're at about 9°C/48°F right now, and the high will be a paltry 12°C/54°F with a feels-like of 50°C/10°F. This day is not a statutory holiday in Quebec, which I find shocking, but it is a federal holiday and since I work for the federal government, I get the holiday. The advantage, I guess, is that things are open and I have errands to run, so I'll do that. I'll also be observing two minutes of silence at 11.

OK, I suppose I should mosey along. Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Morning all! It's another grey, wet, rainy day here in the heart of the temperate sub-mediterranean climate zone. 11C, high of 13C to come.

It's a Stat holiday here for Remembrance Day. At 11 we'll observe a moment of silence and I'll remember my aunt and uncle who served. He was wounded in the push north through Italy and walked with a limp for the rest of his life.

Not sure what else the day holds, probably some of this and some of that.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning Ray & All from a sunny & breezy day in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 56F, heading for 63F and the wind is blowing from the SSW @ 11 to 12mph. I'm sure it will be that way for most of the day. We have a storm coming in from the Northwest tomorrow. Should only be rain, no snow.

Yesterday, Chris & I had a nice, short, visit from my nephew and family. They have been living in Bismarck ND for awhile and thought they would spend the night in Las Vegas. That was until they got there and couldn't handle the crowds. LOL That what happens when you get used to a small town! ;)

I'll be out, finishing the roof on the tractor shed. Plus there are a bunch of little things I need to do before putting the tractor in it.

Scrambled eggs, homemade biscuits and a Pepsi to wash it all down. (We're out of OJ, Costco run coming up on Wednesday.)

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

A late entry but thanks for the pick-me-up! I did work today but also finally got my bike a single color again. Waited 6 years to find upper fairings for my 2000 and now it is monochromatic again, no more black. It actually looks strange to me, but I'm sure I'll get over it with enough wind therapy and celebratory rum.

Weather was fantastic here in SoMD. Too bad I couldn't get it back together sooner but had to fix one broken through hole for the upper windshield. Not quite a color match but good enough for me. Rest of the week should be just as great.

Take care y'all!
