If anyone knows where I might find silver mirror covers and possibly a front fender, I’d be interested.

Mines the 2007 silver model (the fastest available) ;-).

I’m also thinking about painting the bike but I think I’d probably ruin it.

Ron Ayers sells them for less unless the eBay ones are a set.

I bought a set of black ones without lenses from seller tcmtmy on ebay in May '22.

They were $105 with free shipping (same price currently for a set of black ones from the same seller) and I recall they arrived very fast from China in about a week.

I just visited that site and they have sets of silver ones with signal lenses for $150 with free shipping with either amber or clear lenses (ready for a switchback LED upgrade!). I don't see that they or anyone else sells the silver ones without lenses for a lower price than $150.

I still have my black ones in the box, but the fit and finish are virtually indistinguishable from OEM. Would buy again.

Good to know. I'll keep in in mind as I'm sure to need a set given how often I bump into them. I'd just add that there were two different reds, depending on the year, for those who might need that color. It's not 100% clear which one he has, although I think it's likely the 2009.
