Kappa top box on Givi mounting plate?

Anyone here have a Kappa top box mounted on a Givi base plate?
Was thinking of going that way and thought I read someplace that the mounting plates were the same.
Looking at a Kappa K49N (47 Ltr) top case. Otherwise would go with a Givi V47 case but those cost more.
I have also read that Kappa is a "sister" company of Givi. The founder of Givi bought Kappa and set his daughter up to run that company... or so I've read.
Just wondering compatibility of the mounting plates.

What is the difference between GIVI and KAPPA top boxes?
They both have their own design of Monokey and Monolock top boxes. However, they all use the same fitting system, which means that KAPPA top boxes can fit onto GIVI fitting kits and vice versa.
